Your cart is empty.Dow Corning 732 Multi-Purpose Sealant is a one-component sealant/adhesive that cures at room temperature when exposed to the moisture in the air. When undergoing the acetoxy cure system, the product transforms from a non-sag paste to a tough and flexible rubber that adheres to many substrates. Dow Corning 732 Multi-Purpose Sealant is stable and flexible from -60°C to +180°C (-76°F to +356°F), with short peaks up to +205°C (401°F). Dow Corning 732 Multi-Purpose Sealant has excellent dielectric properties. The product complies with MIL-A-46106 and FDA 177.2600. After 24 hours (at room temperature and 50% relative humidity) Dow Corning 732 Multi-Purpose Sealant will have a cure depth of about 3 mm. Limited atmospheric moisture and lower humidity levels will extend cure time. When stored at 32°C (90°F) the product's shelf life is 900 days from the date of its manufacture.

I've been using Dow Corning 732 for decades and it's the best silicone adhesive I've ever used. No kidding. Everything else pales by comparison.

For my unique situation this product seems to have exceeded my expectations. Needed to reattach a stainless cover plate on my 2019 Newmar Mountain Aire on my retractable step. Pain in the butt to get residue from original application at Newmar. Follow this product instructions as given and don’t unclamp for 24 hrs, you will achieve a solid and firmly held bond. I took this advice from an IRV2 blog post. Very pleased with results (so far). Lets see if it holds up over time 🧐

Used it for many things over the years. Fix cracks in plastic horse troughs, and makes an excellent wire bundle secure point that’s vibration free. Removes easily, but only when asked to. I’ve used it to keep nuts from backing off on toilet flush handles and even to secure the hose to the full tube. It kept popping off and spraying water out of the lid. Not anymore, and did I mention it’s easy to remove? Just a small dot will do. It’s strong stuff but remains rubbery. That keeps it strong. You don’t even have to do a super job of cleaning before you apply it. It adheres really well. Comes off of your hands easy too, if you forget the gloves. I’m about ready to need another one. It’s like ductape but clear. Lasts many years longer also.

This silicone adhesive is no different than the usual Silicone Sealants which are lot cheaper. I bought it as I needed to repair some of my silicone items and mold a small disc. The convenience is only the tube packaging which can be resealed but it is lot more expensive for just one packing feature.

Definitely have a really good cutting tool to cut the provided application cap. Other than that, this product does as advertised.

I have been trying out different glues to stick the rear view mirror on my ford figo. Since it has to be stuck to glass, no glue could last the high temperatures while driving in the sun. This silicone glue was the perfect solution. I left it to dry for 24 hours and drove for a couple of hours in the sun and it still stands. Awesome product.
