I wanted something that I could sling behind me when I’m fishing and swing back when it’s time to swap flies.It is more comfortable than my chest pack but the strap is still a bit stiff. You also can’t hang a net from this. I just looped my net chord over my neck and one shoulder. This worked well for me. I got 4 fly boxes, floatant, tippet, leaders, indicators and split shot in there with room to spare. I even had my little telescoping spinning rod strapped to the side.Nice for a quick trip. I will still use my chest pack if I go with the family so I can have everyone’s stuff in one place.

It’s not as tiny as I thought it would be, but it is still very small and my 12-year-old wears this when she is fishing it carries more than enough tackle snacks, water, and so forth this is actually a really great product for a beginner or intermediate that is not carrying a crazy amount of gear unnecessarilyI would absolutely buy another one of these. It was a great value and seems pretty sturdy so far after six months of moderate use.

Als Fliegenfischer ist das Ding eine echte Alternative zur Fliegenweste. Besonders im Sommer. Man glaubt es kaum, aber da passt alles rein bzw. man kann außen alles anbringen. Die mitgelieferten Dosen usw. kann man stanzen (Billigsdorfer), aber die Umhängetasche ist top. Gut verarbeitet, sitzt angenehm, echt viel Stauraum, funktionelle Anordnung. War schon einige Male am Wasser damit und bin voll zufrieden.Kaufempfehlung!

I went kind of overboard to make it perfect, but the original non modified version was the perfect base to add to. I don't like to dig through big bags.The cases it came with are OK, they fit a good amount of stuff. The rod keeper thing that the rod squeezes into is garbage. I replaced it with an S clip key chain thing. Works 100 times better.The Molle on the bag is great for adding pouches. We will see how it holds up long term.If you load it up like I did, I recommend shoulder pads. If you don't load it up with a bunch of extra pouches and gear, it's fine.Good little bag. Perfect for what I wanted to do with it. I have everything I need for fresh water in one bag. No more carrying around a big tackle box. I can walk through the woods hands free with all my gear.
