Works great. Keeps water/coffee hot all day long. Bought it for a hot chocolate station at work and needed it to last all day and night. Beer rarely have to fill it up twice and stays steaming hot the whole time.

We take food and hot drinks out to the homeless, and needed something bugger and quicker for hot drinks.This Coffee Urn makes all the coffee we need. not absolutely sure how long it takes, never timed it, but we turn it on at seven a,m. its ready in about an hour, to an hour and a half.Such a great purchase. Very happy.
