Once in and bled, this is working great.Be patient with removal. Only one line and two bolts but not the easiest to get at. Good (and bad) videos on this out there. Many videos and whole refresh kits include a flex line going in place of factory pigtail. Rationale is often easier bleeding. I think it would aid reconnection of line to cylinder too.If you are going to use the original “pigtail” line, here’s what helped me.Loosely connect cylinder to mount points. This will leave wiggle room to have cylinder port align with line to begin threading. You can somewhat bring cylinder to line as opposed to trying to get line fighting you to thread back into secured cylinder. Once threaded a good bit, tighten cylinder mount bolts and then line.

This worked fine for about 8 months and then the seal material degraded and polluted my lines and reservoir with black gunk which required cleaning and a brake bleed to clean out. Bought the doorman clutch master at the same time, also failed and also contaminated the fluid. Very low quality equipment not worth your time to install. Also unlike other brands these come with zero corrosion protection they will rust immediately and completely.

Fits and works great on my 2001 Mazda Miata SE. I've only had it a few weeks so I don't know about longevity but the install was very straightforward. Don't bother taking the tire off, just put the front of the car on jack stands and turn the wheel left and you have access to the clutch fluid line, the top bolt and the bleeder thingy. You'll have to go under the car to get to the bottom bolt but thats basically it: just stick the silver piston end into the tab on the clutch, bolt on with two bolts, attach the line, fill the reservoir with brake fluid, and bleed when finished. To bleed the line you'll need to open the bleeder, have a helper to step on the clutch pedal slowly and then close off the bleeder as soon as the helper hits bottom on the clutch stroke. I had to do it probably 6 times before it stopped spitting air at me.

Appears to be as good as the original, along with an improvement of that extended tip that you see in the photo. The original has only a ball end. This improvement I think makes it easier to install and function. No issues with installation or function. I installed it and it works.
