Installed on a 2013 Dodge Charger, removal of trunk liner is required, then two screws holding the original actuator in place. Easy to install and replace. No modifications of any kind required.

Easy to install, I purchased this for my 2014 Dodge Charger and it works perfectly! The price was great, half of what it cost in town from the auto part stores, and was a perfect fit.
