The turbocharger coolant line on certain Ford and Lincoln vehicles often rusts and leaks at the junction point where it meets the quick disconnect fittings. The resulting coolant loss can lead to engine damage. Replacing it with an OEM coolant line could mean the same issue again in the future, a costly waste of time when you're dealing with nine hours of replacement labor time. This Dorman OE FIX turbocharger water feed line replaces the OEM regular steel line with a stainless steel line for a more durable replacement that helps prevent future leaks. In addition, this is a complete kit to service the turbo coolant lines, including the supply line, return line, connectors and turbo mounting gasket. This part is compatible with the following vehicles. Before purchasing, enter your vehicle trim in the garage tool to confirm fitment. I am giving this 3 stars because the fittings and gasket worked well and may have been cheaper than buying the fittings and gasket separately. However, the short coolant line did not fit (I did not try the long line). I then paid the local Ford dealer $51.14 after tax for the OEM part. See the photo attached for how the line does not fit. It *may be possible to bend the bracket to make it fit but since the bracket is key for holding the line in place and at the correct angle I did not want to risk it. The pic with the three lines shows the old line (rusty), the Dorman line (stainless) and the new OEM line (black). The pic with the Dorman and old line show that the length of pipe from the bracket to the tip is too short on the Dorman when matched up with the old line.

Recently had a coolant leak on the drivers side turbo on a 2013 f150 3.5. Pulled the turbo and installed the kit , leak is gone!

You are better off using the original pipes. The pipes you already have are bent and fitted to your connectors already. These need minor adjustments and end up being a major PITA, trust me don't do it. Not to mention, the original pipes on mine showed no signs whatsoever of corrosion with high mileage. So the "upgrade" to stainless steel is unnecessary and a sales gimmick. Whatever you decide, plug the pipes into the turbo first! The other ends are much easier to get aligned and into the connector, even the one on the back of the engine.

I put these on both sides of my 3.5 eco boost. One tip if you’re doing it yourself… don’t try to force it into the fitting on the side of the block. It doesn’t click in like the others I believe that’s why it has a bracket with a bolt within a couple of inches. I forced it in too far with a rubber mallet on my passenger side and it leaked, I took it back apart and just let it sit in the natural position with the same parts and put it back together hoping it would seal. Thankfully It did!Obviously completely my fault on the leak… the parts where made properly!
