Part fit perfect in 2008 Toyota Highlander after the original rubber hose developed leak, if you have this engine you should do this replacement before it destroys your engine. You will need a Torx E8 socket, 12mm / 10 mm sockets, and patience when reinstalling the studs. On Youtube, 'FrankHurtAuto' & 'The Car Care Nut' both have excellent videos on this repair with plenty of tips.

Fit perfect and seems to be holding up just fine! As people noted, itβs kinda a pain to install but this one works just fine on an β11 Highlander

This part is an upgrade compared to oem. My rx350 suddenly developed a leak. I put this part on in less than an hour with hand tools. No leaks and no more worry of rubber hoses not being able to handle the oil pressure. I could have lost an engine. Now no more worry π€·π»ββοΈ excellent product.

I wish I had seen the warning toward the bottom of the description that this is a frequently returned part. When I received the part and went to install it on my 2009 Lexus RX350 I noticed something didn't look right. I set the new part on the floor next to the original OEM part I had taken off in the exact same position. See the first two pictures. The part was assemble backwards! Perfect. I managed to get a hold of Amazon, this was a Saturday, and explained the problem. Amazon was kind enough to ship out a new one before I returned the screwed up one. I still had to wait 4 days to get it and my car was obviously not drivable. So....replacement part arrives. Looks correct this time. After struggling to get everything lined up and studs tighten Its all in, time to test. I add oil and start it up. Looks good, no leaks at either of the gasket locations. Wahoo! Back it down off the ramps and out to the driveway so I can clean off the underside of the car from all of the oil. Crawl under the car to spay degreaser and what do I see? Oh yeah, oil leaking! Not from the gasket mating areas, oh no. It's leaking right where the metal tube meets the mounting plate! See pictures 2 and 3. Do yourself a favor and just go to the dealer and buy the OEM part from them. Yes, it's double the price, but at least if there is an issue you can take it back to them.

I loved that this part was brand new and affordable. The price I was quoted by major chains was right under 200$ with tax. So, this saved me major dollars and I appreciate that.

It fit like it was supposed to.I had to replace the hose that came with the vehicle because it burst while on vacation and the rubber hose that was put on to fix it was already leaking so I ordered this part because it has replaced what came on the vehicle when it was new, there was a couple of times I had to rest because it was getting frustrating trying attach the part, but finally got it connected and it works great. Worth the time and money saved from having it fixed at a garage
