Worked for my LLY Duramax. Smaller plug in doesn’t have a retainer clip but it should stay in place, and I should not that the control module is smaller than oem.

Worked to clear p0670 and u0106 for me. Missing tabs to clip main power cable but fits tight hasn't moved yet. Now I DID HAVE ISSUES with big connection fitting now what I found was top and bottom of connection on the module were bowed in a little bit (labeled in picture) this prevents the weather pack from seating properly. I used a heat gun very carefully and spread the connector back into shape. It plugged right in afterwards should be no need to trim anything as others have stated my guess is the weather pack isn't seating correctly causing them issues!

As you know, these modules were discontinued by GM a while ago. Dorman is the only company that offers anything for this if you don’t want to spend $600. I gave it 4 stars because it does work. HOWEVER… this is not made for our light duty trucks, this is made for the Topkick and Kodiak big heavy duty trucks. You will need to trim a little on the edge of the large connector so it will clip in because the plastic housing is too long, I’d say maybe an 1/8 to 1/4 inch. Also, the 12v power plug doesn’t clip in, but it feels very tight in there. It shouldn’t come undone. But this is the only reasonably priced solution. Just want everyone to be aware of these needed modifications, but it does work!

I was quoted way out of my budget to install this on my truck. I am 80 years old and disabled but i can watch videos and manage many things myself thus saving plenty on my meager Social Security budget. This was simple. I still haven't installed the glow plug though as the weather has not cooperated with me but I did watch the video on this as well and I believe I can do this one too. It just takes a little more reaching behind so will have to have someone assist me maybe. Watch the videos and you will be amazed at what you can do if you need to.

The part that arrived, is not exactly what was meant for my truck. All the connectors fit, and the mounting bolts go where they need, however the OEM module has Clips on it where the connector clicks into place. This replacement has tabs on it, the same as the connector. There is nothing holding the round connector in place other than the friction of the pin inside. It does work, but I am sure the connector will fall out on it's own in short order.
