The oil feed lines on this car have a known problem of collapsing and providing ZERO oil to the turbo. Really sucks for the turbo… This line is upgraded with additional heat shielding to prevent the oil from cooking inside the line next to the turbine side of the turbo. It come with new banjo bolts and factory style copper washers. Two thumbs up.

Sequence is the key to success with changing this part . The replacement comes with heat wrap on the section of line that is between the turbo and the turbo heat shield , so you know that is the area that carbons up on the original . This part must be changed out or the buildup of carbon in the original line will reduce oil flow to the turbo bearings and result in turbo failure. When changing start at the lower left supply side banjo connection , use open ended #17 and remove the bolt and connection together. No need to damage the down pipe heat shield. The top turbo heat shield has four bolt ,three visible ,one at the back . Move that shield out of the way to access the turbo banjo connector , also #17. When installing new line start at the supply side , easiest when reaching up from under car ,leave bracket and turbo end loose to fit the supply side banjo connection back in .
