I've bought the Dorman 599-213 Climate Control Module through Amazon.com Services. About a year ago and the fan speed control function stop working. I had notified Amazon and they stated that if it was in fact bought through Amazon.com Services, it will honor the manufacture's warranty (witch happened to be limited lifetime) and it was sent out the next day! Just take a minute before ordering and understand where or how the item you are purchasing is being sold (i.e. like a third party selling through Amazon and how it will be warranted) . Can't beat Amazon!

This item is perfect. No difference between Chevy (Malibu-2000) and Dorman. It works perfect too.It fixed 2 problems--AC going off and on (breen light too). Ac was always pulling outside air in--now I can switchto recirculation. My husband had no trouble with the install even tho he is disabled.
