Took the chance for $14. Was hoping I’d get bushings that were too big and be able to drill out the holes to fit. Bushing were too small and door still has the same issue. Just buy the entire hinge for only $30 more

Package came all busted up in the envelope lose parts and missing clip and bushing are way to small there was more play then the original broke bushing highly do not recommend

This is a couple hour job to put on. You have to cut and grind the old pins out. You will use all the pins and bushings. Fixed my sagging door.

Installed this on an 07 Dodge Ram Cummins, no drilling required at all. Took 10min total to install, not white like factory. Works like a charm for a fraction of the cost.

My bushing on the door detent pin was done on the drivers side. Was making so much noise and was getting on my nerves. I replaced this pin only. Sawzaw'd the top of the pin off in 10 seconds, knocked it out with a punch, bushing in with pliers and new pin in with a hammer.Only thing I can say I didn't like, was the C clip slot is rather high. I'm hoping that was on purpose, but seems like the pin can slide down enough that the splined part of the pin won't be engaged anymore. If that actually happens? no clue. Only time will tell.

I was hesitant to order this due to people claiming they had to do drilling. I have a 2005 Ram 1500 quad cab and didnt have to drill a single thing. Everything was sized properly and they even included an extra clip which was great because I broke one during install.I dont know if amazon was at one time shipping the wrong part to people or maybe the people that had to drill were actually just drilling out the old bushings? Either way, you should be OK if you have an 05 ram.

Neither the pins or the bushings are a direct fit - both are much too large to fit in the existing hinge pin holes. Required drilling out the holes several drill sizes larger to make them fit - requires cobalt bits to drill the hardened hinge steel. Standard high speed (black oxide) drill bits won't work.

I'm not sure whats with all the negative reviews on this. This worked perfectly on my 2004 Ram 1500. Getting the old pins out can be tricky, but once you get them out these are a breeze going back in. I didn't use the 3rd pin (I think it was for the spring tensioner, which was fine on my door), so I have no idea how that fits. But my sagging door is like brand new again, and I'm pretty happy I didn't have to go out and buy 2 $50.00 hinges. I highly recommend this.

Pin set itself seems to be pretty good quality. Rating a 3 out of 5 because this kit did NOT fit my 2003 Dodge Ram door hinge as advertised - the pins and bushings were too small for the existing holes. Given that the door was unusable and that I was being cheap about buying a new hinge, I was disappointed that my scheme to fix it for a few bucks and an hour of my time was impeded by this development. Nevertheless, I rebuilt the old hinge using this kit and (don't judge!) plumbing solder to hold the bushings in place in the over-sized holes of the door hinge. So far so good, but absolutely NOT recommended :D
