Perfect fit on my EOD4. No leaks, nice to have a drain plug and extra fluid column over stock.... be aware it does require the longer stren filter and more fluid than the stock specs

The trans pan fit up very well, just like the OEM pan. I did use this pan for a 4wd pan conversion because I have a RWD with the smaller pan, and I wanted the extra fluid for uphill and downhill towing, and so far all seems well. The only piece of information to remember if you do this, is the pickup/filter. The RWD pan uses a smaller pickup because the pan is a bit smaller, so make sure if you get this pan, you have the pickup/filter with the longer neck. The small pan won't work with the longer pickup, but the large pan WILL work with the smaller pickup, but if you do this you will end up starving your trans of fluid, so make sure you get the longer pickup! Also, this pan doesn't come with a magnet, so make sure you move your magnet from the old pan to the new pan. Other than that, so far so good and if I notice something isn't right for some reason I'll update my review.

Purchased to replace rusted pan on my 1995 f-150 that was leaking. Very well built thicker metal pan. Has drain plug for future ease of servicing. Don’t know how finish will hold up but I painted mine with gloss black Rostoleum paint before installing. Also recommend you use your original magnet as this one doesn’t come with one.

The original pan's flange has ridges between the bolt holes and doesn't seal with gaskets available today nor does it have a drain plug to make trans servicing less messy. This pan is stamped steel and has a smooth flange. Be sure to get the ATP FG-300 steel/rubber gasket. Do not over-tighten the bolts. I torqued them to 10 Nm and all good. this pan holds comparable volume to the original. It is inexpensive and is a decent replacement for the stock pan.

Fit up to my e4od transmission. Old oil pan started to get wavy between bolt holes. If I recall correctly I think the material on this pan seems thicker than stock. Hopefully this one holds up. Not the nicest of paint but fit up with a fel pro gasket and it's holding steady. Big fan of having a drain plug. Doesn't come with a magnet.

Fits well. You need reusable gasket, not stand offs on pan. It is the 4R100 replacement, but works on e4od.

I purchased this pan for my 1995 Ford F-150 4 wheel drive truck with an E40D transmission. I needed to change the fluid and filter anyway. I decided to spend $36.00 for a pan that has a drain plug. This pan appears to be well made. It fit my truck transmission bolt pattern perfectly. I drained between five and six quarts of fluid from my original pan. It was difficult to be exact since some it spills even when being careful not to. The new pan holds a little more fluid. I used 6.5 quarts of new fluid. I will not have to worry about spilling fluid again, when I need to change it again.Installation Tips: This pan does not come with a magnet. Simply clean and reuse the magnet from your old pan. Use a good rubber gasket. Secure it in place with a thin layer of permatex transmission gasket sealer. Clean up any gasket sealer that gets on the inside part of the pan lip. You do not want transmission sealer mixing with fluid. The small amount of sealer is only needed to hold the gasket flat and lined up with the bolt holds, until you get the pan installed. The rubber gasket will do the sealing. Snug the bolts up using a crisscross pattern. Tighten in the same crisscross pattern using a 1/4 drive torque wrench applying between 10 and 12 pounds of torque. I used 120 inch pounds (10 pounds). Use a filter kit for a four wheel drive vehicle, even if you are putting this pan on a two wheel drive vehicle. This pan supports the deeper fluid pickup. I used the newer synthetic fluid, $18.00 per gallon.Having the ability to do a transmission drain and refill using the drain plug sure beats having to pull the original pan with fluid in it. This pan us well worth the cost, whether you maintain your own vehicle or pay a service center.
