These are a MUST if you’re doing cab mounts! Original bolts are torque to yield and should NOT be reused!

I used alot of heat, pb blaster, and a breaker bar to get the old bolts out (with a friend). Took about 3 hours. Used a wire brush to remove thread locker from new bolts. The caged nuts will spin excessively if you use an impact driver. If the old bolts started to get tight I would apply more heat and pb blaster then resume backing them out. Pb blaster will burn off without igniting so it is safe to use.

Having an extra set of new bolts with 2 extra castle nuts is a must. If u know the struggle of taking the old ones out, or dont know, you dont wanna be ina position where u damaged an old one and not have extra. Plus it's better to trust the integrity of new than reuse.

The dorman bolt set seems to be of the same quality as the Ford factory bolts. Only trouble I had was with the front mounts under the radiator so I thought I'd share how I got them out. You have to heat the bolts up and get them hot . Try and avoid excessive flame so you don't burn anything else. But after about 10 minutes of heating and cooling the loctite will loosen up and let you remove the bolts. If you have an issue with the top nut spinning you can beat a 7/8 open end crescent wrench to a curve and it will let you reach the nut . Do not use a impact wrench!!! Get a breaker bar and only use a 6 sided socket. Good luck !

Almost exactly the same as the OEM. Do yourself a favor and run a tap or wire wheel over the threads to get rig of the loctite. When I went to torque them down I was reaching the torque spec with 1 inch of bolt not engaged. After you remove the factory loctite use your own Blue and enjoy being able to turn the bolt with ease.
