Worked fine. Marked as grade 8. Be sure to use thread cleaner or a tap before you install and use some anti-seize high temperature on the threads.

Bought these for my 87 Chevy Monte Carlo SS with the original 305 HO engine. Two bolts were too long for the front passenger side and the rear driver side of the exhaust manifolds. I had to reuse those bolts. Glad they were still in decent shape. Since one of my manifolds was an aftermarket the passenger side the bolts you see were too short so I had to purchase longer bolts for the passenger side. I don't think this would effect if you have both original manifolds in place but the two short bolts in positions I mentioned before would be a problem.

my camel hump heads have an AC bracket that hangs over valve cover and bolts to front 3 exhaust manifold studs on passenger side. this kit will provide bolts and studs for 4 of the 6 holes on "ram horn manifolds. You will still need 2 more bolts or studs for the 1/2 inch longer middle two holes.Update: Old school chevy 283 heads. Exhaust manifold bolts are 3/8 X 16 threads. The 4 short bolts are 2 /2 inch and the two longer center bolts are 2 3/4 inch. I was able to use 3 inch by adding a flat washer and a new lock washer. For those of you with an A/C bracket that hangs over passenger valve cover, you need 3 studs. Two "short" and 1 long center stud.

Correct fit for '97 5.7L truck. I used with lock washers because they were a quarter inch longer than the originals although I don't think that it was really necessary. It was winter, I was outside, and the old rusty bolts were enough fun getting out without conducting a bolt-length science experiment on the new ones.I'd rather see 5 bolts and 1 stud per set but I just ended up buying 2 similar size grade 8 bolts at the HW store for the left side where there were no original studs.Needed 2 studs for the right size because of a plow bracket

These were the correct size for an 87 350 TBI motor with stock manifolds. The studs are not marked as to grade, but the bolts are clearly marked Grade 8.Now i just wish they sold a set with nothing but bolts since I dont need any studs for the passenger side, if anyone knows of a set with just 6 bolts let me know
