I like that extra mandrels were included. This way I can have several mandrels set up ready to go and nust change them out instead of stopping and removing the used band,installing a new one and proceeding. I would like to be able to get 60 grit or coarser as I use these to grind my dogs' claws down.

The grit and the seam were poor quality. I threw out more than I used because the grit didn't cover the entire band causing a choppy experience. Terrible. You get what you pay for. I went back to Dremel

The sanding drums are well crafted. The ones we had been using, before we found these, were cheaply made and disappointing. These (in coarser grit) last longer and are of more uniform grit across each drum.

So for what you pay for you do get a lot but the life them does not last long I use them on my dremmel for grinding dog nails down and within a few uses they shred up fast. Definitely would not use these on doing stuff in that home you probably won't get anywhere with them

I bought these for my dremel used to grind dog nails. They work great! They do wear down but not any faster than some of the name brands I’ve tried, even those that came with my Andis nail grinder. The fit can be a little odd (I had one fly right off during use as it warmed up) but I did a little tightening and haven’t had an issue since.

As I use these to sand stone, I don't expect them to last through more than one use, which is why i buy them the way i do. One thing I feel like I should point out is that these sanding bands hold up very well wet or dry. Since stone is sanded wet, I've never had a problem with them. They last through the rough sanding of one decent sized stone carving and longer if the piece i'm working is smaller. Once I run out of these, I"ll be back for more!

Don't listen to the negative reviews. I almost didn't try these sanding drums because of them. I do detailed woodwork and the manufacture of the coarse drums I used to buy are no longer available. These sanding drums 1/2 x 1/2 80 grit are every bit as good as the ones I used for years and way, way cheaper. They fit perfectly in my 1/2 inch mandrel and perform very well. I will definitely buy these again and recommend them highly.
