I bought these for a guitar project. They worked fantastic, and for the price (about $7 at the time) you can't go wrong. The included drum arbors gripped the sandpaper rings very well. You have to tighten the nut down on the Arbor to crush and expand the rubber bushing so it grips the sandpaper tightly. I think some reviewers did not know this. The sandpaper held up well and did not split at the seams or shred easily. Very satisfied with the performance.

I used the 3/4" and 1" and they tore apart way too quickly. I couldn't even finish the project I was working on. I will spend the extra money to buy more quality product. Another lesson learned on going cheap.

I finally ordered these drum sanders to round out a plastic piece that was too small. The sandpaper worked well, it was easy to use, just make sure you tighten up the nut enough so the paper doesn't slip of the rubber core. Good product. Thank You.

For the price they are fine. I'm disappointed because I was expecting something better and sturdier. Should have known better they are attache to a drill press. They are very small and they work but... wear out fast and are not good for using on the larger pieces of wood I generally work with.

The set is ok. The only thing that's different is that the 1/2 inch barrel has a 1/8" shaft. My old set had a 1/4" shaft on the 1/2" barrel. I can't use this arbor I only have a 1/4" chuck. The drums stand up pretty well. They dont fracture when at high speed. Seems to be fair quality. I will buy it again if it had a different size 1/2" barrel arbor.

They are small. Only two grades of grit count for the drums. Not very cheap.
