Update: this stopped working properly and had to buy elsewhere— was draining the device not charging. Do not recommend

Take off the housing, plug the usb c into the back, reinstall on the wall, and plug in to the nearest outlet! Extremely easy set up! Flat wire is an added bonus, super easy to hide on the outside of the house. I am lucky because I have an outdoor outlet right next to my front door where I have my Doorbell hung. No more removing to recharge!

I really like how thin the cable is, this allows it to easily fit behind the mount and keept is flush. Once installed the camera instantly charged.

This was the right cable for a solution, I have been working on. In the past month, I’ve been wiring new upgraded Arlo cameras to constant electrical power. The weak link was the door camera. Since there wasn’t any power running to that area, I had to come up with a solution. Tried one and messed up the camera. But this solution came available and it was the right answer. So far more than so good. I wish I would’ve seen this earlier.

Update: The cable works fantastic. As far as I am aware, it has never stopped charging. My Arlo doorbell 2nd edition is continuously at 100%.The product came with the cable, cable box(not sure what to call it) and was super easy to install. It worked immediately with no issues on the Arlo app. I really liked how thin the black portion of the cable was. The only thing I’d be careful with is removing the charger from the camera. It seems very fragile and I’m not sure if the cable would end up separating from the end of the charger. All in all, I’d say it was worth the money. I’m just curious how it will be over time.
