I like to keep my door open but the wind has been slamming it shut lately so I bought this and there were no more loud slams! This lightweight product is very easy to stick onto your door without it falling off. I would say it is larger than most door guards I’ve had in the past but it looks very nice and well built.

My dog (an Alaskan Malamute) likes to sleep on our bathroom floor because the tile is colder than the carpet in our bedroom. Unfortunately, he also likes to sleep behind the door, up against the wall. Normally this isn't a problem, but every once in a while he will stretch / roll over and he ends up pushing the door closed, locking himself in the bathroom. Previously this had only happened at night and I would wake up to his whining and open the door for him. He recently accomplished this feat while we were not home and the results were not pretty! Lots of damage done to the door and door frame. So I set off to find a solution and came across these door stops! This might be one of the most valuable purchases of my life! You just slide one of these onto the side of the door near the knob and you're good to go! It leaves enough space that he can get his nose into the crack and push the door back open but he can't completely close the door on himself. Then when my wife or I use the bathroom we just slide it off and hang it on the knob. It's that easy! Literally some of the best money I've ever spent!

I have a bathroom with a litter box for my cats, and one morning I woke up to find that one of my other cats must have accidentally shut the door closed while another of my cats was inside the bathroom. To prevent this from happening again, I bought these and they work like a charm. No more kitties getting locked inside by accident and easily removeable when someone does need to close the door.

We've been using this since my little one started walking, and it's been a lifesaver! You never know when they'll try to slip through a door or get their tiny fingers caught. These guards are easy to install and do the job perfectly. They prevent the door from closing too quickly, giving me peace of mind when my curious toddler is exploring.

These sem sturdy and do the job so far. I got them for my mom's door in her memory care facility to reduce the noise from the door slamming. They are a little too small for her door but still work. I imagine the standard size needs to be smaller so they don't fall off narrower doors. The size is not really a problem for us.

Originally I used these to keep doors open with the kids. After I started to travel a bit more I realized that even after the kids are grown these work great to ensure that your pets can't accidently close a door you don't want them locked behind when you travel. Now that my kids are grown this is what I use them for. Put on above any door (laundry room with the litter box) that you don't want to accidently close while you are traveling. they are a cheap and effective way to ensure you don't end up with a pet locked in a room without food, water, or litter box for a day between sitter visits. They work great, are cheap and easy to install. Just buy them and use them.

These work great to prevent pinched little fingers. Place it high enough so little kids can’t remove it. It also works well to prevent my cat from getting closed in a room.

I use this for my classroom door. It's very convenient, but after a couple of days, it begins to degrade and get thinner. It looks like it's meant for doors with smaller thickness. My classroom door is about 3 inches in thickness and it puts a lot of pressure on these. However, there are 6 of them. So, I can string them out to a week-week and a half depending on how hard the door is closed. I just need to replace them every couple of months.

En mi caso sólo usamos los protectores (dos en cada puerta) para mantener ligeramente abierta la puerta y también para evitar que se azote. Funciona bastante bien, aunque los protectores se deforman un poco cuando se presionan contra la esquina del marco de la puerta.
