After reading several reviews about off brand products and complications with the quality, I decided to buy the Mopar brand for a small price increase. The original installation was pushed in too far on the drivers side to allow me to use the spring clips to control the dome light when the doors were off. Rather than fussing with the original button, I replaced it with this new one and it now projects out at the correct length. As stated in some videos, once installing this button, close the door slowly to allow the depth to adjust itself. Slamming the door may cause the button to push in too far or possibly break off depending on your door alignment. Mopar brand replacement parts have not let me down yet.

Works as advertised. Not sure if it is actually MOPAR, but I'm not complaining. Arrives in the fully extended position, so when you install it you have to close the door real slow the first time and let it click itself to the required adjustment.

I would first like to say that there was no instructions on how to adjust the length of the switch. Did some research and all you have to do is bring the wires through the switch hole plug it in and push switch into place and close the door. It is self adjusting and has worked perfectly ever since
