I really should give this one star because he umis driving me crazy with this, but I am giving it 5 stars because he says it sounds "Just like the one in the Cake song" and "Just like the one in the beginning of Crazy Train" and he says it feels really well-made. Why he wanted it is beyond me, but he is 100% happy with it and as long as he is happy, I am happy.P.S. HE CALLS IT A SLAPATHON because he cannot remember the name of it. :)

I was too busy to test it until literally the day after the return window closed otherwise this would have been returned- DOES NOT WORK. The metal is stiff/immobile and the wooden components are cheap. Avoid.

Wow, went looking for an 'instrument that mimicked a woodpecker' and discovered vibraslaps!! Operates differently than i assumed, and was thrilled to realize when you turn the wooden bell 1 direction it sounds a certain way, and if you rotate it 90° it makes a very different tone/sound entirely. It's my first one, but it's obviously well made and seems durable. Good sustaining vibrato percussion. Great vibes!!

I used this during a performance of Crazy Train, and it worked out great! I would have liked for it to resonate a little longer, but for the price, I'm happy.
