Great for training your dog how to quail hunt.

I have a Belgian Malinois that doesn’t have a very high toy drive so finding the right item is very important to her. We do lots of sports and started dock diving to increase her confidence. I first bought the pheasant decoy for dock diving since these float, my dog eventually loved the first one to death. These are a squishy foam material so dogs can destroy it but I tried to buy a cheaper version and all the other brands I bought were very hard with little give and she just is not interested in those. Thankfully we were able to downsize to a Dokken duck to save a few dollars. Every Dokken decoy we have purchased has been a quality decoy that becomes my dog’s favorite.

It has been retrieved hundreds of times. It has only lost one foot so far.

My lab loves this toy. There aren’t many toys that he does like but this has been a favorite since we got him. Although he has chewed on it a lot there are only a few spots where the foam has broken off. It has been very durable considering he has very sharp puppy teeth and is constantly destroying other toys. It has also helped him understand the concept of fetch more as well. Hoping to use this in the water once he is more comfortable.

super durable and my dogs love to retrieve it. it's a good substitute when we don't have live birds for training.

This is a training item and I suspect it would not hold up long if it was just tossed out to be a toy for rough dogs. But the weight and feel and design are all intended to make this a really good tool for training a dog to fetch correctly. The dogs are interested in it and readily fetch it. They haven't damaged it in training sessions, so I evaluated it as sturdy
