My dog is probably 80 pounds and when the brakes are 100% engaged he gets on the treadmill, and moves on the treadmill and jumps off the treadmill the brakes are not strong enough to no NOT move the belt which gives anxiety to the dog and me. The brakes overall cannot hold a large dog. If the dog has the treadmill upper chain connected to their collar its scary to see the belt move backwards and potentially hang your dog. It almost happened.

This is my first amazon review solely because of how helpful and timely I received help from customer service when I was having issues with my product that were likely caused by improper shipping. They answered quickly and did everything they could do to help me and make things right. The product is very well built.

This product doesn’t even work. I finally get to building it and the plexi glass came broken. I continued to install it without the glass and when completed the running belt gets stuck over the wheels. My dogs haven’t even been able to get it to move because of the belt and they are 100lbs dogs. So disappointing I hope I can get a refund!

Pros:1. Easy to assemble. Even without instructions it's pretty much a matter of matching shapes, so not difficult.2. Arrives mostly assembled; it's just putting the frame on, the deck is already in one piece.3. Requires less intense supervision than a powered treadmill as the dog can slow down, speed up, or stop whenever they want.4. Great for days when the weather isn't great for heavy outdoor exercise.5. Metal and wood are all study.6. Dog can run as fast as his legs will let him run.Cons:1. No brake, but that's easy to remedy with a rubber doorstop between the back frame board and track and it's easy to stop the belt by putting your foot up on it if you need to stop your dog from running.2. Unfinished wood. Again, not a big deal, but it does mean you'll either want to finish/seal at least the top of the slats or be diligent about cleaning the wood.3. About as loud as a regular motorized treadmill, except it sounds like a herd of skateboards inside your house instead of a motor. Putting it on a mat helps dampen that, but it's still pretty loud.
