This slat mill works well for our gsd. Assembly was pretty straightforward. It is heavy! Didn't take long to train him to use it. He jumps up on his own when he's ready to burn energy.

This is one the best treadmills for dogs!!!But first i read some reviews and looks like some don’t read the instructions or forget.My advice isPlease check measurements before buying. It fits pretty much any size dog, except super tall ones, but always check.2nd. If a dog has never used a treadmill don’t think your dog will start using it the first day! it does take time!Use treats or fav toys and put it on the treadmill and let the dog get on the top on his own and get use to it. Let the dog smell it or checked it out first on his own, It might take a week or two, depends on your dog. Remember is something new for them!!!Don’t hook them on the first try or they will probably hate it. Be patient and you and your dog will love this thing.It is really well made, sturdy, a really high quality treadmill and amazing tool for those dogs with extra energy or dogs that are not walk twice a day.If your dog is usually destroying your stuff is probably because they have all this energy and that’s their only way to release it, so this here would be great for your doggie. But please be patient.Also customer service is superb! I had a few questions and the owner right away help me and went above and beyond.

This thing is huge so if your dog isn’t 100% confident stay away. Mine won’t go near it. Then, when you try to return it the instructions are vague as can be and Amazon won’t help you at all. It doesn’t say where to take it, you have to package it and pay for shipping. STAY. AWAY!!!

While the frame pieces SEEM to be solidly made, I have yet to be able to get the treadmill assembled due to the following (though, I WILL finish getting it put together once I can get all the styrofoam vacuumed up so my puppy doesn't eat it):First problem... The packaging was cheap. It was a few sheets of cardboard rolled around the parts and banded with polyester banding. Good luck being able to return it, if you neeed to. I don't know many people who have a bander laying around their house.Second problem... Opening the cardboard "box" resulting in an explosion of crumbly bits of clingy styrofoam. You know, the kind that clings to EVERYTHING except the garbage bag you're trying to put it in. And it gets EVERYWHERE.Third problem... The "installation instruction" that came with it is an absolute joke. NOTHING is labeled, even though the "installation instruction" assigns letters to each part. The pictures are NOT very clear or helpful. In one of the "steps", it just shows a guy holding a couple little pieces. No mention of what they are or anything like that. In another picture, it shows two people, which would have been nice to know before I paid $600 for something I won't be able to return. Contrary to what the pictures show, there are no name plates for the machine. Nothing that in any way indicates that this is a "BowWow Tread".Fourth problem... The wood planks that your dog is going to be running on are NOT very smooth. I realize that you don't want them glossy smooth but there probably shouldn't be rough edges and the beginnings of splinters. So at some point I'm going to have to figure how to get this thing out of my house so I can sand the planks smooth. At this point, I'm honestly not even sure I want to finish putting it together.Fifth problem... The "installation instruction" is printed on glossy paper, which some people might have a hard time with. I use reading glasses and the glossy paper, combined with the absolute lack of explanation, is a literal headache.Adding another edit to add the SIXTH problem... One of the frame pieces is damaged and looks like it was smashed, so I won't actually be able to put the machine together.Just a thought... Have your "installation instruction" be on matte paper, with some actual description and instruction. Pictures may be great when you haven't learned to read yet, but the rest of us want some information when trying to put something together that our pets are going to use. Also... LABEL THE PARTS. If the instructions say that this part is "A", then have a little sticker on it designating it as such. Especially since the images don't exactly give full detail.At this point, I'd send this thing back if it weren't going to be virtually impossible to pack up and ship. I don't know about you, but I don't have a roll of polyester strapping laying around my house OR a banding machine to join it together. And the scraps of cardboard that made up this "box" are a joke. Save your money, unless you like being irritated and having to spend an hour cleaning up styrofoam.

Received yesterday and open today to assemble to find it damaged. The boxing didnt look promesing

Did not like the item and my dog wouldn't do anything on it. My dog runs on treadmills every week for a truck that comes to your house but hated this one. It cost over $200 to ship back and I still haven't received my refund.So I wasted over $700 on this thing!Buyer beware?

This product is well made and easy to put together. My dog is scared of large items and things that move so it was a slow process to get her to trust it but she is getting the hang of it. I like that she controls the speed and it has the side panels so she does not fall off the edge.

I bought this treadmill for my Pitbull and she loves it. At first she was a little sketch but soon as she got the rhythm of it, she doesn’t want to get off! It’s perfect for the cold season and gets them going
