I wish every prefab item I bought came together this easily. When I first saw the pile of unassembled poles, I had a brief moment of dread—flashbacks to 1KEA meltdowns, ya know? But assembling this was weirdly fun.The poles are pre-bundled with stretchy internal cords (think tent poles on autopilot). Just start bringing the pieces together, and the wires do the rest, snapping everything into place like a magic trick. The hardest part? Pushing down the spring-loaded button locks (aka thumb crushers™), but even that wasn’t bad. A+ for thoughtful design!✔ Quality & Size (4' x 4' x 3.3' is roomier IRL than I pictured)✔ Solid steel frame—no accidentally bending these.✔ Waterproof Oxford fabric—tough & weather-resistant.✔ Neutral gray color—blends in well anywhere.✔ Considering the quality, the price seems very fair.I have big dogs (~100 lbs), and I can’t tell you how many times “for large breeds” really meant "for dogs half their size". But this is actually plenty big for them. Actually, this could fit two of my dogs at once, but so far it's been one at a time because—no surprise to anyone with pets—each dog takes the middle half. 🤦♀️If I'm being pedantic (and I usually am 😆), this is not exactly a tent, nor is it just a canopy. It’s open on two sides, so it’s more like a dog-sized carport. Or should we call it a...Tenopy? Cantent? Sheltent? Pupavilion 🐶?? Whatever it is, it’s great for keeping them shaded & dry while still giving them a nice breezy open view.TLDR: This extra-large dog tent is super easy to set up, sturdy as heck, and actually big enough for large dogs (for once!). Perfect for shade & rain protection, just don’t expect your dogs to share. 😆🐶⛺

This does come in pieces and will need to be put together. But the instructions are easy to understand, so it’s easy to do. It’s a good, decent size dog tent, definitely bigger than what I thought it be. The frame has been made from a darker colored metal, so it is solid and really sturdy. The shade is a light gray color, and covers both sides of the frame. The material that it’s been made from is waterproof and a little bit thicker. This dog tent provides a lot of shade, can be put on gravel or grass, and does come with ground nails to keep it in place. And it can be used here or there or all year round. It’s definitely been worth the purchase, I highly recommend.

Our puppy destroys lots of things, but left this one in tact. It took some time to get him used to being under it because he’d prefer to see all around, but after he felt relief from the sun it was simple. The base is metal and feels weighted, but the top is very light. It stayed put during a recent storm so that was a relief. I wouldn’t recommend traveling with this just because there are quite a few pieces and it may be a pain, but we use it over the doggie door and it even reduces the heat in the house when the door is open.

This dog tent provides excellent shelter from direct sunlight. My dogs love to sunbathe but they get too hot and one of them gets sunburnt so this is perfect for them,. It fits well over the top of their cot in the yard. It definitely seems durable enough and built well. I dont plan on leaving it out if it gets too windy though.
