We got two of these for our two German sheppards, it lasted almost a year then began to fall apart when summer hit, the color faded and the roofs fell apart. Definitely good for a temp fix but don’t plan on these lasting for more than a summer or two.

I only just now noticed that I paid $60 to ship this! I never would have bought it had I noticed that. Other vendors are selling it from much less expensive shipping. I found this doghouse quite difficult to put together, the sides were bending and did not want to attach to the back and the roof. The roof was very tricky to put together. Ideally, you would have two people doing it. I would never buy this doghouse again! I had to refer to a YouTube video to figure it out, they don’t provide a video in this Amazon page.

We raise registered Akitas and we bought this product as a secondary weather break for inside our kennels. Our kennels have a roof, but when the storm is accompanied by wind there is not much protection. Hence the purchase. If you have absolutely NO mechanical aptitude you may find the assembly a bit frustrating. Perhaps get a friend to help. But, with a little patience, some common sense and the instructions the assembly is pretty easy and simple. The house suits our needs and is quite acceptable. We are quite satisfied with our purchase. That being said, I do not believe that this house is sturdy or heavy enough as a free standing unit. The ground stakes are not that long and I do not believe that they will hold in a sustained or heavy wind. In addition, if your dog is a "chewer". It chews on Everything! You will be disappointed when you go out the next day and look at your new dog house. The plastic is pretty soft. We also thought that the shipping costs were somewhat high. But, I agreed to them, so I can't really complain about that. If you are going to place this dog house in your garage, on your porch, under your carport or inside a kennel I believe that you will be more than satisfied. We are.

I. Have requested a return on this dog bed. I hope that I can return without shipping charges. This is not bi enough for a large dog. As advertised. We have purchase large items before and did not get any delivery charges. Can you please do something so this article can be returned right away. It was packed and ready for return as isn’t of any service to us.. thank you for your understanding and advice what you can do in this case. Thank you

Excellent dog house, keeps our puppy dry when it rains and when it hot out it keeps her safe from the sun.

It wasn’t that easy to assemble. It took at least an hour or more to assemble. For my Labrador who weighs 70, it needs to be wider and longer. In time he will learn how to lay down inside and rest. Right now he just goes in, turns around, and comes out.
