The description says for 1-15 lbs, but my shih tzu is 15 lb and she did not fit. She hung out of it. It was also hard to get it on. I have to have my sister help me and it still did not fit right. It is very hard to find a carrier for this size dog. we do not need it often, but it sure would be nice for times when she gets stubborn (once got hot and refused to finish our walk). Being carried made us both hotter than before. I think a sling would help, but not this one.

I have tried several other slings and ended up keeping this one. Yes, the safety features are pretty much non-existent, but I only use it for when I'm holding her to sleep at my desk at work, so it gets the job done! The first one I bought was great but had to wrap it and that became too much of a pain! The other one was more expensive and crossed on the left side first, which I didn't like as I am right-handed and like to put my doggy in on the right side first! All in all, it's better than nothing

I have a 4 lb Yorkie and we ride bikes. She likes to stay close to me. Was hoping this would work well. Very uncomfortable for me but mostly concerned she could fall out. No support for my Yorkie and no precautions for her safety. Would not recommend.

I really liked it. After using it, my dog and I feel great, very useful. It's for walking; my dog and I took a stroll for a few hours, and honestly, I didn't feel tired at all. I love the back support. It was great; my dog got tired of walking, so I put him in the dog sling carrier, and he rested until we got back to the car. We love going out with our little dog, but there are places where we are not allowed to walk her on the floor with her leash, so we bought this dog sling carrier. It has been very useful and easy to use. At first, it was a bit difficult for us, but we followed recommendations from other buyers and watched a video on how to use it. Our dog enjoys it a lot, and we enjoy spending pleasant evenings together as a family. By the way, the back support is great. We had a dog sling carrier without back support before, and we would end our family walks exhausted. With this dog sling carrier with back support, the weight is distributed very well, and we don't end the day tired. The safety strap is a great extra that gives us peace of mind, allowing us to have our hands free to hold the phone or something else.

The DOG sling carrier was a gift for my wife, who has a rather restless Chihuahua. After a few failed attempts trying to use the product, I decided to watch the video posted on the product purchase page on Amazon, and it was very easy to use after watching this video. I recommend watching the video before purchasing the product as well. My wife and Damian, which is the name of our baby dog, love it because it allows them to be close to each other very comfortably.
