This pet sling is very soft and has a water-resistant lining in case of accidents. The shoulder strap is thick enough that it doesn't "dig in", so long as your pet isn't too heavy or large for the sling. The hammock portion also has a draw-string mech top portion in case you have a squirmy pet that won't sit still. I tried this with both of my cats and neither of them tolerated it well... I left the sling on my couch and they fell asleep inside of it, which I took as a good sign, but when I disrupted them by putting the sling on with them in it, my apartment turned into chaos. My takeaway is that if you have a calm pet, they might love this!

Bought this for my 9lb chihuahua, she fits right in with even more room to spare. Great fabric, keeps her warm and fabric doesn't smell. Easy to place her in and out. Love every detail.

I have a 6 mo Chorkie and he does not stay in the bag. The string is so long the netting on top doesn't close around him very well and he climbs out or falls out when he is adjusting. Good thing is the strap keeps him connected to the bag. It's awkward to where not a lot of room and I end carrying him any way which defeats the purpose.

the material feels gross. It is like a really cheap sweatshirt material that snags on everything, including my skin. It doesn't feel particularly sturdy. The shoulder strap is nice and wide, but it is not adjustable in length and if you are a bigger chested woman, you end up with a small dog right under your armpit. The inside material is a nice cool material, which could work if it was hot out, except the entire thing is black. It does have this netting with an adjustable opening to help keep the animal inside and it has a safety strap. It also has a small pocket on the outside that could fit a small set of keys, or a small baggie of cat or dog treats, or waste bags, but not a wallet or a phone. I will be giving this away to a much skinnier friend
