I think this protector for surgery is a really great idea, I order a small or extra small and this was huge. The outfit look like it would be for a large dog, other then the size being to big, it is made well and I think it’s a better item to use then the cones they put on the dogs.

Ordered for my Mastiff after his neuter, the Xl fits him perfectly, he’s 85lbs. Soft and easy to get on this baby reindeer.

XL fit very loose on my 65 pound GSD where her other XL suits fit her. Otherwise, very durable for the price!

I have a Black and Tan Coonhound, Bluetick hound, and Bloodhound mix dog that has Cushing's and skin lesions. She's a big sweet girl that one of our other dogs loves to give her kisses. He licks way too much causing issues with her skin. We've tried putting an old t-shirt on her, which helped, but didn't fit well enough. I got this hoping it would help. The suit fits her well in XL. Not too tight and not too loose. The drawback is not having an opening for her to do her business. I know the description says a hole can be cut, but I think it would affect the integrity of the suit. I'll just open the Velcro portion when it is time to go outside. The collar extends high enough to prevent our other dog from licking her neck and the rest of the suit keeps him at bay, as well. It is easy to put on and take off of her. It provides the relief she needs from our other dog. The suit came with two pads that can be placed in a pocket where the description states a hole can be cut. They would be useful to contain any leaking from wounds.

First off I’ll start with saying our 5yr old 69lbs pit loves pajamas and this is no different and the fit was perfect for him. I had to take off stars because we have to taken them off when he goes outside. I know they say you can cut it but he’s an active dog and I think the fabric would be weak where it was cut and cause it to fail. Since he loves them and they fit him well we want to be able to use it for a long time. I think it would work well for surgery recovery and prevent licking as advertised.

My dog is kind of long and lean (not suite corgi shaped, but trending that direction). The size that fits his length most certainly does not fit his girth. I had to modify it to fit snug enough that he couldn't reach his neuter incision.The turtleneck part is also probably too stretchy - overnight he can slither his whole body out the neck hole. Come to think of it, I should probably try to take that in a bit too...

I ordered the wrong size. I ordered large...my fault. I thought the large would fit my Brug mix, but the large is more German shepherd size. I'm making adjustments. Covers and secures well. Lightweight material so they don't overheat.
