I love this head harness/leash combo!-Head harness makes it easier to redirect my dog.-Leash has two hand holds-Straps are easily adjustable, wide, sturdy and fit well.-Head harness makes it easier to redirect my dogWith 130 lbs of dog desperate to play with every other dog and be pet by every human she sees, being able to control WHERE she looks has been a lifesaver! The harness doesn't prevent pulling so much as it just makes it easier to redirect her. Much easier to stop her from excitedly lunging when I can simply move her sight away from whatever is interesting.Additionally, my beast is still learning to behave, and she jumps and bites my clothes/the leash when she is upset or scared. Being able to grab the harness just below her jaw has prevented a lot of torn clothing and quick way to end a tantrum before it can really get started.-Leash has two hand holdsThe leash having a second loop about two thirds down is fantastic for large breeds, as it give me a nice soft built-in handhold instead of wrapping the leash around my hand to keep my dog close when walking. I also hold the first loop at the end as an emergency grab in case of sudden dog zoomies, this has prevented me from completely dropping the leash a few times!-Straps are easily adjustable, wide, sturdy and fit well.Lastly, on the actual quality of the harness: it's great quality as far as I'm concerned. The XL harness harness straps are .75 inches wide, and adjustable. Was able to fit around the ginormous head of a great dane easily. Leash is also thick, takes concentrated chewing to break it. Harness itself is thinner than the leash, but sturdy. My dog has worn the harness through, but less through normal wear and tear and more through rubbing her face on concrete like a weirdo. Harness was able to last six months of weekly "scrape face on concrete" sessions.

This head collar with leash is excellent. It is made with high quality materials. It is adjustable in size over the nose, in the neck and also from the nose to the neck. I previously purchased from another brand and that one was not adjustable from the nose to the neck and was too short and had to be returned. This product allows me to have better control over my dog and thus more enjoyable walks. Great product.

I have used many different styles of leash training on our dog. He is a puller while walking. I like the gentil leach method, but it takes time to get him comfortable with the system, and we are still at a stage where he will walk for about 15 minutes before he wont go with out trying to get it off. Training with this method is a long process. Be prepared. This gentil leach is a little heavier than expected. That might be part of the dogs frustration with the use, but the buckles and adjustment hardware are high quality. This is a great value compared to the big box pet supply store. GOOD FIND.

I measured my dog before ordering to make sure it would fit, but it was still too small and only by one half to three quarters of an inch. In the box they provide what they call a safety piece that you are supposed to attach the head collar to the neck collar with, now if this had the same buckle attachment as the head collar itself I could have attached it and made the head collar the proper length that was indicated in the description, but of course it didn’t!? It does also come with a poop bag holder with a roll of bags that can be attached to the two handled leash that also is included. The quality of the material, the stitching, the overall general construction of everything included, plus the head collar is superior to most dog products found on the market. They are also highly reflective, which I appreciate, and as far as I am concerned I received more than its value with the extras included so am not that put out by it not being big enough for my puppers. Honestly though, why 2 different buckles?

I've been using head collars on my dog for a while, he has a problem with his trachea and harnesses that fit against his throat and chest, they make him wheeze. However, this one seems to be better made, more straps in different places, some cushioning on his stout, it gives me the impression that a lot of thought went into its design.I got the small, my dog weighs 13 pounds, right in the middle of the of the range given. He fits in the other ranges as well. While the collar is strong, it just seems very heavy for him. I can't imagine a smaller dog doing well with the weight or the length of the strap under his nose (that the leash attaches to). I also needed to adjust some of straps as far as they could go, maybe further than they should go. I cannot imagine a much smaller dog wearing it.I don't understand part of the instructions, it says to buckle the safety strap to the dog's existing collar. The instructions name the different part of the collar. None of them are called a safety strap. And I cannot figure out how to attach any part of the head collar to his regular collar. It certainly is a complete package, it has the head collar, a regular collar, a holder for the waste bags with the initial roll included, and a leash. And it's a very nice shade of blue.In terms of the pulling, he is a still a puller. He pulls really hard for a dog his size. This is a work in progress. Perhaps we both need some additional training.

I bought the exact same model last year and have been extremely satisfied. I decided to purchase another one as a backup and it is much lighter weight than the first one. When you have a large dog that has impulse control issues, size matters, and the size is not the same. Obviously this manufacturer is trying to make more money by using lightweight materials instead of using the same materials as last year. I'd rather pay a little extra for a thicker leash and head collar than this lightweight one.
