Purchased two of these and they barely lasted 4 months. One still holds a charge for two minutes, the other does not power up whatsoever. They last long enough that the return period ends and you end up with ewaste.When the collars did work they had problems lowering the shock level, no matter what number shock was set to it hit full power.

This is one of the best items ever I've purchased. With 4 dogs on large property surrounded by neighbors with the same, the barking was a forever thing that was too much. A friend suggested a bark collar. Being skeptical I ordered one and the next day ordered 3 more. There are 3 modes to switch to. The first is sound, second sound and vibrate and the third is sound, vibrate and shock which can be set on one of 5 levels. We started with the shock at the lowest realizing that after trying ii on ourselves was very mild. Sucess the first day and after a few days we were able to take them off completely.

I wanted to wait a while before writing a review. I didn't choose this one my daughter did and I'm very satisfied.So the first thing we noticed is the various options on shock, vibrate and beep. It can get loud/louder or less/more intense depending on your needs. My daughter's dog has anxiety so anytime anyone passes our window out bacl or front if she years them she'll vark. It does depend on how close I suppose. The next thing we noticed us the wase of operation and quality. It's not some piece of crap. It is well made. Also to me the most important, is the battery life. I kid you not, this thing lasted on the Plott Hound for 2 ½ weeks before needing charge. I believe if she didn't bark it would last longer. I definitely will be buying another as a back up and to switch out when the other needs charging. My only gripe is not having color options, but I suppose that's just aesthetics and not for practicality.

These collars have been wonderful. My dog has a history of irritation when it comes to collars with shocking mechanics so I was very worried going in but needed a solution to barking when kenneled. These have worked wonders. It immediately eliminated her desire to bark when I was not home and even put an end to her anxious tendencies. The different settings were incredibly nice to have while I explored training methods. I have had these collars over a week now and have yet to need to charge them so the battery is long lasting. I am really happy with these collars and would recommend them to anyone with large breeds with barking tendencies.

This is a great collar; so happy we bought it! Our mini golden doodle (13 lbs) loves to bark, especially when people walk by or when she spots a squirrel. It’s cute but exhausting at night, especially while we’re trying to relax with a show. We put this collar on her last night, and it was a game-changer—we finally had a peaceful night! We’re gentle and would never want anything that could hurt her, so we only used the beep and vibrate features (no electric shock), and it worked perfectly. As soon as she started barking, the gentle vibration got her attention without causing any distress. She calmed down quickly, and we could tell she understood the new "quiet time" rule!
