The pictured items were misleading…the picture of the tablet holder on one side of the desk with the phone holder on the other. We thought were getting two items in one package. The tablet holder is very thin, doesn’t hold books. It is also a bit flimsy. I wouldn’t say it is worth the price. It does mount to the table well for what it’s worth.

RARELY do I write a non-positive review unless something has so much appalled me that I can't forgive the lack of quality. If you're needing to adjust the swivel hex screws, make sure you don't tighten them. Ever. Not even a little bit. The screws can't handle much torque whatsoever. I know i know --- don't over-tighten. I get it. And, no, I'm a fairly gentle giant with small screws and anything in which I need to use a HEX tool.The metal or not-so-sturdy-metal material (I'm thinking aluminum or cheap metal) hex screws cannot withstand a decent hand tightening. For those who are in love with the product, glowing reviews, I can understand the fascination with the sheer practicality of this product in how it swivels nicely up and down, to the side, etc. It's quite the novel item if you're not planning on regularly doing any swivel adjustments which require you to use any of the THREE hex tools it comes with.Over tighten even once, and you're in for a nice surprise. The metal becomes easily weakened and sheered to a point where those little cute HEX tools/wrenches just won't work anymore. The slot becomes worn and all you do is turn turn turn those screws (well, actually NOT)If you're placing this item on a piano where perhaps the same piano player is going to sit there for life and not need to adjust it much, then yes, 5 stars all around.I guess between the disappointment with the HEX screws and not having the time to prepare for a return/refund, I feel much better and I suppose somewhat vindicated by just warning the public.Suggestion to the manufacturer: You could have a really good gig here. Honestly. But please, get some sturdy HEX screws to place in the swivel joints. And, please please please have ONE HEX TOLL fits all, not multiple sizes for each swivel joint.(5) stars otherwise.

This document holder is really only average - once connected to the desk it is not that stable and there is no clip to hold papers

This is a really good product. It clamps nicely to the corner lip of my computer desk. When not in use it pushes back out of the way. It is very versatile. You can take the data holder part off and clamp in your cell phone or tablet. Apparently their is a base available to clamp it too if you don't want to attach it to your desk. The direction were pictures and very basic. I have a plastic bag with 3 Allen Wrenches and a rubber band that I have no idea what to do with. Also it does not come with a like guide. I'll have to see if I can find one somewhere. All in all, it's pretty good.

I love this thing. It's fantastic for switching between needing my phone mounted for hand free calls, my tablet for note taking and second monitor type use, and documents for typing up notes and docs. The doc stand is a little heavy but with the right amount of tidying and as long as its mounted in a solid place it's great. Even letting the doc stand rest on the desk standing tall it's great. The doc stand is just big enough for a spiral notebook. The phone stand works with binky cases on your phone or no case at all. Both phone and tablets can be moved to any position. I'd advise that you use this with a wooden desk that has some weight and thickness to the tabletop. I use it on a glass desk for now and have to use some extra cushion to keep it mounted. They one thing I'll say is if you have a hard time tightening and untightening things, have trouble with your hands or anything, this may be a bit tough to manage. I do end up using the tools to untighten to move it and retighten extremely tight to get it to stay put.

Disappointing Purchase. Description says "Full motion, pull to adjust..." I figured out pretty quick that I couldn't adjust the joints of this product smoothly - like you'd expect - you can set it up in one configuration but don't expect to move it after that. The Metal Document holder is so heavy it won't stay in a position that is convenient for use. I was extremely careful but in under 3 months it's not usable. The screws stripped when tightened. Then finally the extra (unnecessary) screw at the base stripped out and the whole assembly crashed to the floor. There is no way to stabilize / connect the base - rendering the whole assembly useless. I was hoping for a solution to avoid 'Tech-Neck' but this is not the answer.

This arm is perfect for holding papers or a small tablet. The adjustments are pre-set and tension seems adequate. The clamp is strong enough to obtain a tight grip; but multiple hex keys are required to provide tension if needed or if wear causes the arm to loosen. I'm very happy with the purchase - but might think twice about anything heavier than papers or a smartphone for workholding.

Such a great find! Very happy with this document holder. It's very sturdy, which is needed for an adjustable sit/stand desk. In order to be so sturdy, you do need to use the (provided) tools to loosen and retighten the joints, but really once you've found a good position, there is little need to make a change. I will note that my original order was defective. I contacted the manufacturer directly and they sent me a new one right away with no trouble at all. Great customer service!
