I got this to replace a pole with interchangeable hooks and found that this one is much better for several reasons. First off, you don't need to switch out the hooks. Second, it has a much thicker diameter and is easier to handle when fully extended. Third, the carbon fiber is strong, but very lightweight. I find it has much better stability than my thinner pole and is just easier to handle. I hang birdfeeders that can weigh 8 lbs when filled. As such, I've sometimes lost control and dropped the feeders with my other poles but haven't had that problem with this pole. Since the threads are universal, I can also use this pole for mop heads, fruit pickers, squeegees, and other attachments, which gives it a lot of functionality as well. It may be on the pricey side, but I think it is definitely worth it considering its versatility, strength and length. Plus, being carbon fiber, it will last darned near forever.

This is very nice telescoping pole. The construction makes it very strong when fully extended, it is very lightweight and It does not have a significant bend to it when fully extended. Yes, it was a bit more expensive than the aluminum long reach poles but I found that the cost was worth it. Comes with a protective sock and the hook attachment. my plan is to use this with other DOBEN attachments in the future. Its great for getting the Christmas lights on/off those high peak hooks.

Worked better than my last 24’ pole for stinging lights on trees. Last one was much heavier hard to hold up at 24’. This is light and easy to handle, hope it doesn’t break like the aluminum one did.

I'm short and have trouble reaching things. I actually got this to be able to put up and take down my hummingbird feeders and it works great! The only thing I don't like is that the hook piece is made of plastic and feels weak. It has worked fine and haven't had an issue though.

This is a great 12 foot telescoping extension pole. The pole is made from carbon fiber which has many advantages over most other materials e.g., plastic, aluminum, wood etc.. It is super lightweight yet has tremendous strength to weight ratio not to mention resistance to deterioration from rust or other types of corrosion. The build quality of the carbon fiber is excellent as the tolerances of the poles within each section are very small - the sliding in/out is very smooth without any binding. Extending/retracting the pole sections are easily accomplished by opening/closing quick release buckles and sliding the poles to the desired length. The buckles tension is adjustable (if needed) by using an included Allen wrench.The handle section of the pole is comfortable to grasp and maneuver the pole to wherever it's needed. This CF pole has many other uses in addition to assisting with hanging/retrieving Christmas lights or other items. The pole assembly incudes a 3/4" standard threaded tip which is compatible with plenty of other tool accessories - I've demoed with our squeegee head (see pic) and found it easy to install/remove plus I was able to adjust the pole's length that was perfect for me when maneuvering for pushing out the water from our garage floor. Additionally, it has a more comfortable handle than the original squeegee pole that I was previously using.The pole's hook has several options for assisting with putting on and taking off Christmas lights and other items - lots of versatility. This pole assembly comes with a carrying bag that helps make storing easier - Note: you do have to take off the "hook" when storing in the bag. There was no loop that allowed you to hang the bag into a wall hook so I added (2) tie wraps that provided to ability to do so (see pics).Overall - definitely a (5) star product that has lots of capability - well engineered and built, should last a lifetime, and IMO is selling a price comparable to similar products.

Very nice pole for the money. It made easy work of hanging outdoor Christmas lights on trees. Well constructed and easy to extend and retract. Highly recommend.
