I've used both standard needles and the gold needles. These are superior needles. They glide through aida cloth easily and locking thread on the reverse is much smoother than standard needles. Yes, these are a bit more money but you won't regret buying these.

Easy to handle and use. I tried these because the regular needles irritate my skin during longer stitching sessions (possibly allergic to a component metal or something) and these don't seem to do that.

Altho I’ve seen somewhat larger needles suggested for using with Spellbinders stitched dies, I find that these work best. And since they’re “tapestry” needles they have a blunted vs. sharp point, you won’t stick your fingers. And I love the gold color! I highly recommend!

These feel great at first, as they thread easily and glide through the work (needlepoint in my case) very easily and smoothly. The only problem is that the gold plating is very thin ad wears off quickly. The steel underneath is fine, but less comfortable to use than the original gold surface. The points are narrow enough to penetrate the work easily but blunt enough to not make holes in my fingers.

Initially I received the wrong product, which I understand can happen. When I contacted the seller, they responded immediately and resolved the problem very kindly. I emphasize the customer service because I have experienced appallingly poor customer service with another seller. The item itself is of great quality and serves its purpose well.

Received - will be trying on my cross stitch or needle work to finish it. The canvas I have is 24 to the inch. Very tiny and hoping this will make it easier. First time with gold needles.

Beautiful needles that feel sturdy and glide through Aida cloth. Only con is the eye is so narrow it can only be threaded with a threader.

Fonctionne encore mieux que des aiguilles qui ne sont pas plaqué or. Je recommande fortement d'utiliser ce type d'aiguilles pour votre broderie. Un article que je compte racheter c'est certain.
