Used on a brisket, did the job. Wrapped good, held up through the cooler rest. Held the moisture in. I don't believe it's coated at all, which is perfect. When you're done with it, take old toilet paper rolls, pack the used greasy paper in them, and use them for charcoal starters.

This is just as good butcher paper as the o es with the prints on it. For as much as you’re getting at this price point,I’ll continue to buy this paper.

The only thing that would make this paper absolutely perfect is if it was a little wider. I use it on the Big Green Egg religiously and it serves me well! Sometimes I need to double up for width, but that's not a deal breaker.

Works pretty good I like it because there's a lot of it and it's 22 in wide makes a big difference when you got a big pork butt

Firstly, this paper is wider than most stuff available and the roll is longer, so you get more product than others. Holds liquids very well, great for that brisket or shoulder you are not trying not to over smoke. Use on small sheet trays when you cut the food up, use to pack leftovers. Remember, this paper ain’t a one trick pony. I like this size because I don’t have to double up or use a fancy folding method if you have larger brisket or piece of meat. The paper is also strong enough to take a couple pokes as you get your internal temperature right and not fall apart. Makes lifting your bbq off the grill and into your cooler to rest a breeze.

My husband is an obsessive griller/smoker, and we've used a LOT of tin foil in recent weeks as a result... Tin foil is great, but has its limits - especially when it comes to the smoker. It's simply not as sturdy as butcher paper - and it adds another layer between the food and the smoke, which means you don't get the full rich smoky flavor in the same way when you wrap meat up in layers of aluminum... This pink (technically peach, but it's pink looking to me) butcher paper is fantastic - it came on a huge roll at a great price, it's much easier to work with than foil (particularly on double wraps), and is permeable so it lets the smoke in even when the meat is wrapped tightly. You use a little more butcher paper than you do foil, because you can't fold the edges as tight, but when you can get a large roll like this at this price point (especially compared to the heavy duty larger tin foil), that isn't really cause for concern. We already can't wait to use it to wrap our next brisket!
