This Dixon HA2576 hydrant adapter connects hose with a smaller diameter to a hydrant with a pin lug for quick disconnect. It has a 2-1/2" National Standard Thread (NST) female on one end for connecting to the hydrant and a 3/4" Garden Hose Thread (GHT) male on the other end for connecting to a hose. It is made of brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. It is chrome plated for strength and durability.

it does the job and I haven't had any issues with it. It's also light so when it drops in my work truck I dont have to worry about it denting any of the brass pipe products I have. I work for a plumbing company...

I used this adapter to go from the check valve to garden hose for power washing from a fire hydrant. Worked perfectly and got the job done.
