I keep several first aid, trauma kits in my vehicles and home. I decided it to be to my advantage to keep a sterile scalpel in each kit. These scalpels fit the bill. I was pleased they were sterile and individually wrapped.

Great for my personnel to carry with them.

I'm surprised at the negative reviews. We use these to castrate piglets. They cut clean and easily. Makes a very unfun job a bit easier.

These are great for ripping seams out of sewn items, and these exactly what I was looking for. I have purchased a single one of these from sewing outlets for around $4.00 each, but this is so much cheaper and I have a new one when I need it. I'll be sharing this with friends.

Decent construction and packaged well. I expect a scalpel to get one thing right and that is to cut cleanly and effortlessly. This scalpel fails as it is surprisingly dull. Not especially easy to manually sharpen due to pitch on cutting edge.

These scalpels are very good quality. They come individually wrapped and sterile in air/water tight foil sleeves which can be peeled back without one's ever needing to touch the scalpel thus keeping it sterile. Very sharp blade; works very well.

Used for gutting/cleaning wild boar. It works great. But they are really not razor sharp from the factory. I opened them before I took them hunting and touched up all the blades on a fine diamond stone. They got truly sharp very fast.
