The placemats have an adhesive that is preapplied. It makes it easy to stick to most surfaces. When the child is done eating then you can easily remove the placemat and throw it away. It is not necessary to clean it because it is disposable.Both designs have dinosaur themes. One has the alphabet and the other has numbers 1-10. They can be used for other things besides eating. Playdough would be something you could use with them. They could also be used as a playmat for toy dinosaurs.

Most of these similar placemats have a sticky line at the top and bottom. (think the ones you get for free at chick fil a). My baby can take those off with no problem. These have 5 rows of sticky going down the placemat, so it stays in place WAY better! Now, of course, if you have a toddler that likes to pull on things, they will be able to take this off too, but its at least a smidge harder :) It also has a nice design and keeps them interested.

These are a win in my house. I actually was able to reuse each mat a few times before having to toss them as they are easy to wipe clean. I like they keep my kiddos attention while I'm preparing her plate and she's saying her colors & numbers.

This made eating at restaurant easier and mess free. The application is easy to peel and stuck well to the table. The design help keep the little on entertain.

SOOO cute! - just look at those dino-faces - and SOOO handy!These are super helpful for anytime we need a clean surface - when we go out to eat in a restaurant (or at home for that matter), do arts & crafts, we used it on a recent airplane trip, they have made picnic tables sanitary - these are perfect and have saved us SO much clean up and headache.They're sticky in rows and will stay secure and in place until the little one is done and we can simply apply a bit of oomph and tear it off, fold it up around the mess and toss it.At 25 cents per placemat it is a great value for what it does for us - we have some in every car, the diaper bag and bring them everywhere we take the granddaughters.Highly recommend!

I'm a bit of a germaphobe, which I know does not pair well with having kids, but I do what I can to keep them from being exposed to the obvious germy situations, like restaurant tables and high chairs and countertops, airplane tray tables, etc. Using these placemats has really helped me feel like I can protect my kid from germs, even when he decides to randomly lick a table. The placements are large and I can even wrap it under the table edge for more protection. At $0.25 each, I don't feel bad about using and tossing one in any situation. Plus they can learning tool and you can make up games using the alphabet to keep your child busy while waiting in a restaurant.

We got these for when we travel or go out to eat with our 2 year old but we use them at home as well. I love the designs of the placemats as they are educational and fun. Its so easy to have a disposable place mat that you can just throw away after one use. My only flaw is that the back has adhesive stickers that are quite difficult to peal off at times. Overall, its a good price for 40 disposable travel placemats and worth it for eating out and traveling.
