This is my third time buying! We used one so much with our first every time we went to restaurants and it’s held up so well. It was perfect! This is the best gift for a new mom too because they probably aren’t thinking about this product, but it solves the problem of baby eating at restaurant when you don’t trust them with a real plate yet or want them to eat on a grimy surface ! 10 / 10I see less color varieties here and I really hope they don’t discontinue this product because it’s amazing

I’m writing this review from the air, on our way to Austin TX actually, for SXSW. Got this mat for the trip because our baby is with us and she has life-threatening food allergies, including peanut. I wiped down the tray table (and chairs, seat belts, etc) with sanitizing wipes but this mat was a great extra layer of protection for her tray table.Prior to the trip we washed the mat in our dishwasher and it held up great. Once it was dry I folded it up. I love how it folds up easily, quickly and compactly. The quality seems excellent! It took up virtually no room in the diaper bag.The silicone material is great for any spills, which we had, and were able to easily wipe off. I’m excited to use this at a restaurant soon.After washing and folding I was so impressed that I ordered another in a different pattern/color — gender neutral space/astronaut theme!

Hello there, nice to meet you! ;o)The short version? Get this incredible silicone placemat for both your kiddo (and yourself) for restaurants and whatnot!Someone had their creative cap on, and discovered a way to make a useful silicone placemat absolutely portable! They accomplished this using beautiful scores (that's grooves to help it collapse really small) in the material so it will fold up super small like 4x6 inches. Kudos to them! ;o)I'm a great believer in silicone mats! I use them everywhere because of their heat resistant properties, easy to clean, and definitely non-slip, which is GREAT for artists/writers like me! More on that in a minute.My child has long grown, but I understand having a portable silicone placemat is a terrific solution for families with kids when getting out and about like restaurants and the like. I use this type of placemat for my own lunches and dinners-- both indoors and outdoors, plus when I'm traveling, as some surfaces aren't the cleanest, you know? (For that, I'm a kid at heart! Love having my little 'spot' to eat my meals. ;o)Up till now, I had to put up with rolling up my smaller silicone mats to use them when I'm out and about. Now that's changed for the better, because someone found a clever solution to have the mat fold up uber small to aid in clean up and storage in your purse or pocket, so the possibilities are endless!For example, I use a lap desks with my iPad and smaller laptop on the train, flying, and in the car-- but the surface is rather slick. I've been covering the topside with a silicone placemat that is just the right size, and take advantage of the non-slip underside-- to keep my valuable equipment from crashing to the floor. It just so happens this adorable placemat at 15x11 fits the top of my most portable lap desk perfectly! Now, I simply fold up the mat when I'm done working and tuck it into its corner, then into a nearby pocket for future use. Problem Solved!Gotta say this: there's an elegance, a great design that does what it's supposed to do. Simplicity is the way to go, and the low-key printed side is beyond cute. Not only that, this easy-to-clean, foldable silicone mat is quality and it shows. I know I will be buying more of these Austin Baby Co foldable placemats soon!I'm sure you can think up other uses for this wonderful, foldable, non-slip silicone placemat! This placemat is fantastic for traveling (or at home). It is a space saver and can fit in a a diaper bag easily. It is very cute and entirely silicone. Microwave safe, dishwasher safe. Highly recommend.I needed to add that they did send us the wrong color from what we ordered. But in the end we felt the dinosaurs were also very cute.

This placemat is great for kids. The print is fun to look at and the silicone keeps the messes to a minimum. It is super easy to wipe clean and fold into the corner pocket. It doesn't lay completely flat, but it is nice that it will hold itself closed. Nice product!

This is a great little silicone mat. It's perfect for bringing along to restaurants for babies and toddlers who are beginning to eat table food. It folds into itself making it easily portable and the color and pattern are gender neutral and really cute.

My baby is so messy. So. Freaking. Messy. With that being said, let me tell you about this mat.It makes cleanup 100 times easier! Also, it will serve us for many years. I intend to use it as a placemat for my daughter when she is in the toddler stage and beyond.The print is A D O R A B L E. It's a sweet little gardening print that is unique and special.This mat is easy to clean and store. It folds up nicely into its own pocket and barely takes up any space at all, making it nice for travel as well.Before it's all said and done, I'll probably end up ordering another one of these masterpieces. 5 stars!

I wish all silicone mats like this folded this nicely. What a genius product. I have so many mats for my twoLittle ones and always struggle with storing them. This folds up so easily and tucks intoThe little pocket nicely. I need to get more !
