It doesn't lock in place like most DisplayPort cables. In fact, the DisplayPort specification does not include any locking key. Personally I am really pleased with this cable in particular. It works fine going from my computer to my monitor. The lack of a locking mechanism makes it easier to plug in or out due to the tight spaces I use.

I purchased a new monitor for my computer and it required a DisplayPort cable to run at the highest refresh rate. I opted for this braided DisplayPort cable since it is more durable against bends and gives my setup a clean minimalist appearance. The cable works well with my monitor and can run it stable in the performance setting.

Not much to write home about here folks. Its a cable and it does its job exactly as I had hoped. I am not trying to put out 20K so I have no idea what its top limit is but it works at 4k 60hz and 1440 144hz.Thats what I needed and thats what I got.

This is a competitively priced cable that will meet your basic needs. The construction quality is comparable to other offerings. It comes with the increasingly common nylon braids you see on a lot of cables versus a plain rubber/silicone sheath. At ~$5 this is a better value than Amazon Basics cables.

Solid cable at a cheap price. Exact length I needed too. Works for PSVR 2.

• Durability: It seems well-built and premium.• Performance: The cable performs well with my high-resolution displays. It's been a reliable option for good picture quality on my 4k monitor.• Ease of Use: It's very easy to use even in cramped spaces, which is a huge plus for my setup. The length is perfect for this.

Other than having a braided cover, this is a basic cable that simply works. The plugs do not have a locking mechanism, which makes it easy to unplug the cable in cramped spaces. I tested it at 1440p and 4k resolutions at 60fps and it worked without any problems.

I bought these to use with a KVM switch, and while they somewhat work with second PC which is a Mini PC, they fail to work when plugged into GPUs on my main PC while my older DP 1.4 cables work fine on it. To me it seems like a fundamental quality issue. The issue is the display keeps cutting out and turning off and on.
