Update to my review. Changed the power cord and that seems to have solved the problem for now. Should not send a defective power cable though since multiple people have had this problem so it is a known issue.Would be nice if it didn't continuously turn itself off. Literally lasts 10-15 seconds and then turns off. Have to do this like 20 times before it will stay on for any length of time. Hard to work on things like this. Sadly it is now past the return date but only had it a few months.

I bought the A4S micro USB 5VDC light pad with a visual work area of 9"x12", and I am delighted with it. The acrylic panel has a slight static charge that keeps the pattern in place on the surface, so I don't need drafting tape to hold it for my purposes. It is lightweight, bright, and comfortable and easy to work with. If you need a LED light pad that offers quality at a great price, then this is an excellent choice.

I love, love, love this product. I wanted a light pad for a long time and thought they were more expensive. This is well worth the money. I use it to trace different coloring pages. I mostly love it for the ease of embossing die cuts for card making. I don't have a machine to do that for me, and this works great and doesn't take very long to trace. I just got this light pad a few hours ago and have already embossed 6 card covers with it. Thank you for such a pleasant surprise and easy product to use. I highly recommend this for other scrapbook projects , card makers, etc.

The Dimmable A4 LED Tracer Light Box is a very nice LED light table. I was impressed on how it looked when I took it out of the box and was also impressed on how well it was packaged to arrive here safely. I do applique so there is no more holding up to a window to do tracing of a pattern. I love the dimmable light and how light weight and thin it is. My husband is and engineer and he was impressed with the all around even lighting. You'll love it for your projects.

This is a high quality item! Good size, adjustable brightness which is awesome, perfect for me and my 5 year old to learn to draw and trace her letters. Also learning Japanese symbols and how to draw cool cartoons. Exactly what I wanted! and very affordable too!! very cool!

I have a big ole lightbox I use for art in my studio. It's good and big, but it weighs a ton and and the incandescant bulb makes it terribly hot. I didn't expect this little led light box to measure up to that big old thing, but I was plesantly surprised. This lightbox is a perfect lightweight alternative for drawing on the go, it runs cool and takes up a fraction of the space. It has no internal battery, but it seems to run off a little power bank just fine.I use a lightbox most frequently to transfer sketches onto heavy paper and canvas for painting, so the light has to be pretty bright. I put a peice of sketching paper on the lightbox and wrote 4 numbers on it in sharpie. Then over each number i placed papers weighing 57lbs, 70lbs, 140lbs, and 280lbs (all hot press), respectively. I turned the light box up as high as it would go and snapped a pic. As you can see in the photo I took, the light is strong enough to shine through all four. Though I will admit, it would be hard to see fainter pencil lines through the 240 lb paper, thats still pretty dang good, especially for the price.A word of caution: The plug socket is ill-fitting. It's very easy to make the power cut out if you bump the cord too aggressively. It's not much of a problem for me since I dont wiggle my drawing surface very much. But I know some artists who move around a lot more will find this endlessly frustrating. I plan to diy some support to see if I cant steady the cord. I might also add some protective film to the surface, Acrylic isn't widely known for it's scratch resistant properties.

I recently purchased this A4S lightpad, and am impressed at just how lightweight and sturdy it appears to be. The power button adjusts the brightness of the pad, and depending on how long you press the button, can be turned back on with the preferred level of brightness stored. The power cord fits snugly into the pad, and has given me no problems. I'm very pleased with the purchase! My main use has been for diamond paintings, and the light is strong enough to see the symbols easily. I have also used it for use with alcohol makers to light up behind my ink stamp patterns so I can better stay in the lines - works well for that, too.

After hours of tracing by taping my work to a window and standing awkwardly in a semi bent-over position I can now work more comfortable and more professionally. AND I can use it any time of day or night. No waiting for the sunlight to do my work. The LED Tracer Light Box allows me to sit at my work table or even on the sofa! It's very lightweight (portable!!!), not much heavier than my phone. The fact the the light is adjustable is an added benefit.The only thing that I question is that the instructions say there are "pucks" (half-round balls), that get attached to the top back of the light box. There is an illustration showing that these are to lift the light box a little so it stands slightly at a slant on your work table. They were not in the box. I just used something else to give me that lift as I needed the light box and did not have time to hassle with a return just for this reason.
