The principle of this tachometer is very simple, the head emits red light after the reflection of the reflective paper, dipole induction tube induction, IC calculate the speed.

Test method.

B: Low speed measurement: In order to improve the measurement accuracy, when measuring very low speed, it is recommended that the user put several reflective markers evenly on the object to be measured, at this time the reading on the display divided by the total number of reflective markers to get the actual speed value.

Did not have contacts for battery on one side. Made a contact plate but meter does not record any RPM's.the laser is very bright.
