‘Pretty basic’ springs to mind when reviewing this piece. Sound quality is fine. The instruction manual is cheap and not the easiest read. The frame you insert into holes in the top of the unit to support musical books does not fit. The peddle mechanism plugs into the rear of the unit and rest on the floor but the cable is too short so it ends up dangling (and that’s from the keyboard sitting on an office desk). It should be more advanced in terms of Bluetooth and USB connectivity but even this feels very dated. I assumed I could move the keyboard from room-to-room but it’s a heavy lift. To sum up, it’s cheap to buy but you get what you pay for.

This is the ultimate piano set up. It comes with so many extras including note stickers for the keys if you are a beginner. It also comes with a piano stand, music stand, cover, portable bag, adapter, headphones, and a pedal. It’s heavy and the sound is great. I feel the current price ($285) is fair for the quality. The only downfall is that although it comes with straps to attach the piano to the stand, there is no where on the bottom of the piano to latch it onto. Therefore, the piano just sits on the stand without anything keeping it from falling. This is a danger if you have kids or pets that could knock it over. Overall, I absolutely love this piano and am super happy to add it to our music collection. It is worth buying.

I ordered this to replace my Casio when it gave up the ghost. I was excited because back when I was in the market for a keyboard, a set up like this would have run close to a thousand dollars. At $289, a keyboard with 88-weighted keys and a pedal is a steal. But bear in mind what you're using it for. If you're a professional, this is not going to be the piano for you. But for someone eager to learn the piano, who has never put their fingers on one before, or if your kid wants to try it out, this is more than adequate. Heck, I would have loved to have a setup like this in my dorm room when I was getting my music degree. Before I address anything about the keyboard itself, I am going to address what I feel is the elephant in the room. This setup has a $289 price tag because it comes with a stand. If you can get a different stand, just buy the piano. The stand is a disaster. First of all, I'm not convinced this stand is supposed to go with this piano. It doesn't seem to bear the weight very well. Also, putting the stand together is a nightmare. The instructions are small pictures and they're difficult to decipher. I'm already making plans to get a different stand because I'm afraid somebody's going to bump it the wrong way and send everything crashing to the floor. But as for the piano, the biggest issue is open air sound. Even at its loudest, it can be kind of quiet. I'm sure that you can attach an aftermarket speaker to it and solve that problem. But if you're using this with a headset, that's less of an issue. As long as you don't use the headset that comes with it. The headset that comes with it is the same quality as the headsets we give to kids in school to learn foreign languages. The piano is quiet with the included headset. But when I switched to my Skullcandy earbuds, it was normal. It actually has two jacks for simultaneous headsets so if you have the opportunity to take lessons, then you and your teacher can both wear a headset and listen to you play without disturbing anybody around you. There's a metronome setting, but I can't figure out how to adjust it so for now it only has one speed. A lot of people were not impressed by its sound samples, but it has 300 of them. I'm not too sure what else people need XD I'm having a little difficulty figuring out how the other settings work, but I didn't actually order this piano to record myself playing, transpose, or anything else. I ordered this piano to brush back up on my playing, and it's helping me do that. In the vein of learning the piano, this is more than adequate instrument.

My biggest gripe is that the included stand isn’t made for this piano. It has attachment screws, but the piano has no place to insert them! We have tried everything, but no go. Don’t like the piano just “resting” on top - not stable. Also the volune, even all the way up is not very loud.

The build of this keyboard is excellent however unfortunately the volume control sound balance is terrible.I purchased two of these keyboards because of its good price and advertised features. While playing music through my headphones at the volume level of 5 and above the sound is loud, clear and even but below 5, sound is only heard from one side of the headphone. I tried using several different headphones and the same problem, sound from one side of the headphones and not the other at level 4 and below. I need to listen to what I'm playing through both right and left side of headphone at level 3 because above level 3 the music is too loud to listen to through headphones for an extended amount of time. Additionally, when playing music through the keyboard speakers at level 5 and above the sound is loud and clear, level 4 and below sound is louder through one speaker than the other. The speaker sound is not even and balanced in these two keyboards so I have no choice but to return them even though I love the build quality.

You're really going to love this. It has a great feel to it all. The accessories are such a bonus. I mean this feels really professional, has good weight to it so it doesn't just flop around. The stand is excellent. The speakers are great.I'm very happy with the sound quality is just terrific. I have such a good feel. I'm glad I got it
