Seems to be very accurate. Need to use the protective covers to make it work correctly. No issues so far

Digital Ear Thermometer, FSA and HSA Eligible Highly Accurate:Love having the ability to check everyone in the home's temperature easily and having the liners keeps us safer. Lots of sickness out there over the winter season so it's great having this just in case. Comes with a little bag allowing for easy storage and to take when traveling.

I can’t even tell if it’s a good thermometer. The power and check temp button are the same. It was turning off when trying to use it for myself. There is no way I can check the temperature of a squirmy toddler. Unfortunately it has to go back for this poor design alone.

Finally an accurate thermometer. I had little hope based on the fact we have an entire collection of thermometers that dont work but everyone in my family tried this when we were healthy and all have a good natural temperature! It easily fits in the lobe and comes with plenty of replacement shields. Honestly I recommend this highly as it definitely seems to be accurate and super easy to use!

I have the worst luck with thermometers and grabbed this because the pediatrician's office always uses ear thermometers. It takes one's temperature quickly, and it is easy to use. The package comes with probe covers, as well as an insert with instructions on how to aim it at the eardrum. The package insert does NOT seem translated from another language, which I appreciate. It also comes with a little pouch to keep it and the probe covers in.

Using this is as simple as slipping on the protective cover, inserting it into the ear canal and press the button. It has a memory to make it easy to remember a slew of previous temperatures - great for a sick child. There are a couple minor issues. First, the instructions say that you press the power button to turn it off - but that does not seem to be the case. It does turn off automatically after a couple minutes, but still. The other problem is the storage bag. The problem with this is that you and accidentally turn on the thermometer if you pick it up or even just move it in the cabinet. I would prefer a simple slide power switch instead of a pull trigger on/off. For my own peace of mind, when I am not going to be using it for a period of time, I simply remove the batteries (which also prevents damage from batteries that go bad and leak).

Our family has never owned an Ear Thermometer, but the doctor’s office only uses them, so we decided to pick one up. The thermometer is simple to use as long as you remember to install the protective ear cover before taking a measurement. The display will remind you to install a cover before taking a temperature. The kit comes with a box of 20 covers and a quick search on Amazon showed several options for purchasing more covers. The instructions indicate that you need to insert the probe straight into the ear canal which is easy to do when taking someone else’s temperature. Taking my own temperature, I wasn’t sure if I was inserting it correctly. I got varying results. When I took my wife’s temperature and knew I was lining it up correctly, it gave a consistent measurement. The display also will glow green on normal temp, orange on moderate and red on high temperature. You can also go back and view the past 32 measurements that are held in memory.I’m glad to have this on hand in our house and very satisfied with the operation of the thermometer.

It works as expected. Have yet to use it when sick to see the temperature for a fever. The product itself does seem somewhat cheap plastic. I don't think k it would survive a fall. The prove covers seems fairly cheap as well. Otherwise it works as expected and glad to have a secondary thermometer just in case
