Fantastic value. Scale on the unit is very easy to use. Quality materials and machining. Auto off a must. Comes with extra batteries. Toolless battery service. I have fat fingers and battery cover is small so I had a hard time reinstalling cover. Battery fully charged, I just removed the cover to see how hard it was to service. Case may be sketchy but time will tell.

I bought this caliper because I was asking my husband to use his all the time. I do craft work and there is a lot of things that are measured in metric but not always (if that makes any cents)? I got this so I would have one for myself. I got this one and my husband told me this was better than the one he had and wanted to know if I would swap. I didn't. It is of good quality and it precise. I love that it comes in it's own box and is made of good metal. It will not disappoint.

This is a great set of digital calipers to have for your household or office. They come in handy so many times when doing repairs, ordering parts, modifying things, determining what size screws/bolts/plugs etc you might need. I used it to measure bumper feet to figure out what size replacement, etc. They are solid, reliable, come with a nice case, and made of metal. You can determine the size of a drill bit that is not labelled for example, etc.I recommend removing the battery after each use. There is a small circular compartment in the case that is used to hold the battery. Otherwise, the battery will die if when inserted, even when not in use for several months. If the battery is removed, it seems to last indefinitely.

Works as intended but can loose zero by 3-4 hundredths of a mm.
