This is pretty awesome. I found that there was more sugar in some of the drinks then I thought. A very good thing to know.

This is an excellent product. Very precise readings of concentrations, and the ability to save results in the mobile phone app is very useful. I use this daily, and it hasn’t let me down. Would highly recommend.

I bought this digital refractometer for my son's science project. It was so easy to use that it encouraged him to be interested researching further in Chemistry. It is accurate as long as you remember calibrating or zeroing on known liquid first. The digital readouts were very clear. I used it to measure the sugar content of solutions. Very practical and served its purpose.

I purchased the DiFluid Digital Brix Refractometer for a friend who recently had a stroke and is diabetic, and it has proven to be the perfect tool for ensuring that the sugar levels in their drinks are kept low. This device is incredibly precise, with a range of 0-32% Brix and an impressive ±0.1% precision. The 0.05% resolution allows for very detailed measurements, which is crucial for someone managing their sugar intake closely. The digital display is clear and easy to read, and the device is straightforward to use, even for someone who isn’t particularly tech-savvy. It’s a reliable way to monitor the sugar content in homemade beverages, ensuring that they stay within safe limits for my friend’s health. This refractometer has provided peace of mind and has been a vital tool in helping my friend manage their condition. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs to keep a close eye on sugar levels, whether for health reasons or just for more precise control over their recipes.

Purchased this item for my maple syrup season this spring. Absolutely perfect for monitoring my sugar content in my sap, allowing me to more efficiently and effectively monitor the sugar content in the maple sap that I was boiling. Very affordable and user friendly. Small enough to stick in my pocket, really easy to use, and has a great battery life - making this great for working in the outside and in the sugar bush during early spring conditions. I will note that there was some variability in the readings, which I attribute to working and trying to use this out in the field in varying weather conditions. However, I found that by taking two or three readings (which was quick an easy to do), I could easily get a really great read on my sugar content. In all this was an awesome investment for my homestead and hobby maple sugaring operation.

I bought this digital refractometer for a biology project. It was very easy to use. It is very small so it's portable and fits in your pocket. I bought it on sale and is very much worth the money. The screen is clear to read and the results seem to be accurate when compared to the expected results. I used it to measure the sugar content of bananas and it was perfect as I did not need to dilute the banana with water. Overall it was very practical and served its purpose.

I brew beer and wine and have always used a hydrometer but decided to try out a digital refractometer. Like that this does alot of different modes and it will automatically give me my % of alcohol when I do the final gravity reading on my beer and wine. It is easy to use and is very small so it doesn’t take up a lot of room in my brew room. Definitely recommend.

I recently picked up the DiFluid Digital Brix Refractometer 0-32% Range Brix Meter to use for homebrewing beer, and to replace my old refractometer. This thing is amazing! Extremely compact, waterproof, rechargeable, and blisteringly fast with its readings. Comparing its accuracy to both the refractometer and a hydrometer, the DiFluid came within 2-3 specific gravity points of each -- showing it was highly accurate. The screen is bright and easy to read. I highly recommend this! A few other observations:- Make sure to calibrate it using distilled or purified water. The instruction sheet is a bit confusing here. Quickly tap the main button and then again and hold it to calibrate. Needs to be a very quick 1-2 tap.- When testing a sample, allow it to cool slightly before tapping the button for a reading. For example, the first reading of hot wort from my brew kettle often comes in at a lower gravity than once it has cooled slightly and stabilized.- I wish this product could be adjusted to display readings in Fahrenheit and specific gravity. Not a deal breaker, but for those of us in the U.S. it takes some getting used to Centigrade and Brix. Regardless, it's easy to enough to find a calculator online.

I recently received this refractometer and have been very impressed with its accuracy and performance. I tested the refractometer alongside an old-school analog version, and was pleased to find that the results were nearly identical. This gives me confidence in the reliability and accuracy of the device. One of the standout features of the refractometer is its ease of use. It is simple to calibrate and test samples, and the results are easy to read and understand. The device is also lightweight and portable, making it convenient to use on the go.In terms of durability, the refractometer seems to be well-made and built to last. It is constructed with high-quality materials and has held up well to regular use. Additionally, the device is easy to clean and maintain, which helps to ensure accurate results over time.Overall, I am very satisfied with the refractometer and grateful to have received it as a gift. It is a reliable and useful tool that I would highly recommend to others.

This is essentially a slightly more limited version of the refractometer they sell as a coffee specific one at a lower price point. The hardware itself seems well enough made and designed, it doesn't look or feel particularly "budget" - which is a good thing because these things aren't cheap. I wish I could tell you that it's accurate but not having any other device that can remotely do the same thing that this does I don't have any kind of reference to compare it against and for the purposes of this review I'm assuming it is. The app integration works well enough and the onboard screen, though small, is easy to read and nice to have. As for the cost, it's in line with what these things simply cost. Set up and use is easy and straight forward. My only real criticism so far about it is that it lacks polish in the supporting documentation and app. The app is basically adequately made, has all of the features you would expect to support the device with and is reasonably straight forward to use but there are some polish issues that make you question what kind of ongoing support it'll receive like certain parts of some screens not being translated to English even when you triple check that you've set the language properly. It's nothing that can't be worked around, it's not all over the place and nothing you can't contextually figure out but it's not a good look for an expensive device.
