I have a couple of UPS devices in the house that are pretty fussy when it comes to the 60hz frequency. From time-to-time, the UPS would not switch to the generator power because the frequency would be off a couple of cycles.I purchased this counter and installed it. I am now able to adjust the frequency if it gets out of whack. Doesn't happen often, but it's sure handy to have when I need to fine-tune things!

I bought this unit to see how well Texas' now-notorious electrical grid is keeping up with demand during this arctic weather we are having here at the moment. Line voltage and line frequency both 'sag' when generators are struggling to keep up with demand, but so far so good (fingers crossed). I have also been monitoring the U.S. Grid via FNET's website which shows the instantaneous frequency in various U.S. regions, and this little meter is accurately tracking these changes (to one decimal place) as they occur in Texas' grid.Technical note: this meter truncates the frequency measurement at the first decimal. It does not round the value, and so if the line frequency is, say, 59.999... Hz, it displays 59.9 Hz, not 60.0 Hz. This is preferable because otherwise the frequency would always display 60.0 Hz except in cases of a serious grid fault. Line frequency typically varies less than 0.01% under normal conditions.Very nice little meter. Accurate, looks well made and has a nice, bright display, all at a great price. A solid five stars for this product.

It works and is fairly accurate. A must have if you have a portable generator that you intend to run appliances, tools, or electronics. I cut the cord off a 120 volt device that I threw away and wired it in. Then plug into a receptacle.

I added one of these meters to an electrical sub panel in my workshop to monitor current usage and voltage when I'm running my power tools. This meter works very well, was easy to install, and is easy to read from across the room. I haven't verified its accuracy with my multimeter but it gives consistent and reasonable readings.

The product works as advertised. Very easy to read and simple installation. Beware that the wired to the Amp donut and the voltage wires are very short!! I don’t I stand why they can’t make them longer and the end user can trim to length. Easy to trim than to stretch a wire...

Gracias

I use this on the output from my variac to show the output voltage and current drawn. Checked against calibrated meters and it’s within 1/2% m. Excellent
