It does use a 18650 battery, but not an easily swappable button top one. The battery used has wires attached to it. I also have a Semier sm817 radio, which uses an easily swappable button top 18650 battery(or a bl5c battery) . I bought some 5000ma 18650 batteriesand a charger to use with it. While it's sound quality isn't so great, I use as an example of how imo all radios should be powered .As for the Jazmm L08vam, having song navigation on the card only by song number us also very annoying. Some radio / mp3 players navigate by folder or song number.

Bought for the Drive-in. Works perfectly sound is great, battery lasted hours, portable, size is perfect, and it was loud kind of surprised.

Exactly what I am looking for a portable digital AM/FM radio. No need for antenna, reception signal is excellent. Easy to operate. Love the bluetooth function and the USB-C charging port. No need for battery at all. The sound rocks. Highly recommended product! 5/5 star rating. No regrets of buying this inexpensive product.

Bought this for my elderly mother that likes to sit and listen to music. She needed something simple to operate and this fit well. Picks up stations well and had better volume than expected.

This is grear little radio and love the portability and sound quality. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because it is rechargeable only it would be nice to have the option to use regular batteries.
