Works great! I was able to wire this kit up to my existing driveway gate openers that I can no longer find remotes for.I ran +30v and ground from the gate opener board to both the GND, and to the COM (ground) terminals for 2 of the relays on this kit. Then run a wire from the NO1 and NO2 terminals to the terminals on your gate opener board for the button triggers. My board has these labeled as SIDE1 and SIDE 2 but yours may vary.I also bought a set of the same programmable remotes and used buttons 1 and 2 for the lock and unlock on my car alarm remote, and the 3 and 4 buttons for the gates. Saves me from having to carry 2 remotes.

I got this for two old garage doors and lights. Installed and tried the remote. It closes and opens so fast that it does not activate one of the two door openers. The momentary setting should keep the contacts closed until you release the button. This is not how it is working. Tried to reprogram and nothing changed. It has three mode however, none of the other modes work. Instructions are good and easy to follow. Where it is not working like any of the mode descriptions and won't change. I believe it is faulty unit.

At first I did have some trouble figuring out how to get the mode to change from "momentary" to "toggle". But after that everything went smoothly. I only used three of the relay outputs. One for the room lighting and the other two to move the projector screen up or down. Now I can be a total couch potato. To change modes, press the button the number of times corresponding to the mode you want. One for momentary, two for toggle, three for latching. After you press the button the desired amount of times, the light will light up. Make sure to quickly press a button on a remote, any button. Tada! It's set.I did initially set the wiring up so that both "up" and "down" could possibly be active at the same time...oops. The relays didn't like that much current. That was my mistake. I changed the "up" relay so it was only fed juice when the "down" relay was not energized, using the "NO" terminal side.It did activate all on it's own once but after searching online, I found that if you hold the set button for 6 or 7 seconds the light will illuminate indicating it was "unpaired" from the remotes. Then you just set the mode again with the remotes and all is good. For the price paid it really is a good value. One note though, don't try to use the full 10 amps. Apparently that is an absolute best case rating.Enjoy!
