Fleas on my cats and dog.

My dog does not get a lot of fleas and is not out a lot but I noticed a flea on her, and know that when you find one that there are more. I do not like using insecticides on her or near me, so I went looking for a safe solution. First I found a bar of soap by DERMagic and ordered that plus the DERMagic Diatomaceous Earth powder in the small shaker.First I bathed her with the shampoo. We did not see any fleas jumping off, but we had only seen the one, so I figured there may not be too many anyway. While I waited for her to dry I sprinkled the powder sparingly on my carpets especially near where she lays and around where her bed is. I really did not use a lot as it's a very fine powder, so I just shook the bottle from a bit up high and gave the room a light dusting. I then shuffled around in my stocking feet to let it get down into the carpet fibers and then let it do it's job. After my dog was completely dry I sprinkled just a little bit on her, being careful that she could not inhale any. A little bit goes a long way with this stuff so I really hardly needed any. I brushed her and massaged her to spread it out evenly in her coat. The next day I combed her and found one half dead flea and that was the end of that. A couple days later I combed her again with the flea comb and did not come up with anything. This powder worked and did not cause any skin discomfort to my dog so I think we will continue using these products through the summer to ward off fleas and ticks.Just a word of caution. A friend of mine warned me that her friend had ruined her vacuum with diatomaceous earth. I had no problem at all, but I did change the filter after I vacuumed. When I asked her how much her friend used she said she bought I think it was a 2 lb bag. Obviously way too much. I did my family room living room and dining room, my dog and a few other areas, and barely used any from the bottle, so do not overuse this.If you want to read my review of the soap bar here is the link https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/RBZ1QKBICOLB2/ref=cm_cr_dp_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B007P6T12KThanks for reading my reviewBecky Brooks

We already use the bar soap of this brand and it works perfectly so we decided to try the dust out. I have been putting it on our cats for a month now and have noticed somewhat of a difference but not much. I like that the product is organic as we are trying to reduce our cats and family from being exposed to chemicals. I put the dust on our cats every three days because it states on the bottle that it may take up to 72 hours for the fleas to dehydrate but I have continued to find fleas on them by the third day alive and well. Dust does not work very well on the cats' bedding or our carpet.

Works great! I had a bad flea infestation. This powder worked the best. Leave it on for at least 2 days if you can and the fleas and eggs dry up. Used it on furniture and carpet. Problem solved in less than three days. Vacuum several times. Remove the bag or empty the canister carefully. Put in garbage can immediately.

It helps and is good to use in the dog beds. According to my vet it will not kill adult fleas, but will kill the eggs. Good product and has helped.

This product is very good on my cats bedding and on them. I sprinkled them, then brushed their fur to allow it to reach the skin. After an hour, I fought with them to bathe them...you must rinse them well to remove the residue. The fleas were left in the bottom of the sink and off my babies! This, I love! Yes, this is a good product for remove those buggers...however, you must treat your home and keep it treated to keep them away! Be careful with application considering what is in it.Recommend it highly...

Way to dry! My poor little one's skin was so dry from this powder that she was uncomfortable. Also, she passed away 2 weeks after using. I don't believe there is a strong correlation, as she had a health condition. I just wish I didn't make her so uncomfortable her last few weeks. I was looking for a SAFE alternative to pesticide flea medications like Frontline, Advantage, etc.

someone told me about their products, received this and immediately sprinkled and dusted on my 7 dogs, unbelieveable results. been using for about 2 weeks one dusting lasts several days, no scratching , not finding fleas in house. I also spray throw rugs with 50% white vinegar and water. dusted their bedding.this stuff is the very best and a blessing not to have to use chemicals which a couple of my dogs are allergic to, and to know it is doing the job.will save alot of money on flea shampoos and driving myself crazy with keeping them flea free. one dog has an allergy to Flea bites. so far so good. thank u Dermagic for this product. will tell ones on facebook about this also.will reorder. did order 2- peggy cook
