These are smaller than the older diaper pins and thinner metal, so they bend a little easier. But they come in a great quantity, so I guess not a problem to replace.

The plastic latches are not strong. They will do, but they will fail over time. But there are ample of them to make it through until you have the little one potty trained. ;)

I use these old fashioned style diaper pins for all kinds of things. I first started to look for them as a means to keep sock pairs together. Regular safety pins (without the plastic top) catch on other clothing items in the wash. I also use two of them to close my mesh delicate garments bags (I removed the old cord that just tangled around other clothes.) IF I can find a package of them (usually only 4 to 6 pins) someplace other than on Amazon, I pay nearly as much for those few pins as I get in a bulk bag here. If anyone is concerned that these are somehow inferior quality or flimsy - I assure you that the pins in the package I received were exactly the same as the old timey diaper pins.

These were perfect for the diaper cake I made for twins baby shower.Spent a few hours roaming around town and couldn't find locally. The convenience was worth it.

When I was little, I think the color choices were limited - I got these to play a game with for a baby shower. I know people are becoming more conscientious about recycling and I hope they do revert to using cloth diapers; but I know my daughter, she'll use disposables. I like the colorful assortment.
